M-77: analysis, omnivore life forms are no match for guided missiles :v:
Most of them I can agree with but shooting at the KR's troop compartment wouldn't disable the copter outright, it would kill the passengers though, besides the KR could still use its main gun. Also if we where talking about the gunship variant of the KR, the kodiak would be infinitely screwed.
I replaced the Kodiak with the Hammerhead. What I'm trying to say that GoW style war materiel would be completely useless in ME's high-speed mobile warfare situations.
enemy encampment just past this marsh, atleast five krogan combatants. SENT IN THE BRITISH ARMY JACKELS [img_thumb]http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/05eXesl72a5WN/610x.jpg[/img_thumb] whats wrong with a little tracked vehicle combat in mass effect there are requirements for heavily armored vehicles in the future. imagine the situation i just mentioned. you could sent in a light armored vehicle with 4 mounted weapons to slaughter the enemy in seconds instead of sending in 3 people

Holy fucking shit what commander sends a Heavy vehicle to take out 5 combatants?
XanaToast said a light armored vehicle, but same difference. You'd need crew for the LAV anyway.
So does anyone have any idea what Tali's race looks like? Also am I the only one who kinda feels spoiled after playing ME? When I play other games now it kinda bugs me how linear they are in comparison.

[editline]14th November 2010[/editline]
indeed
Well she apperently likes getting hurt real bad. Finally a decent anwser to why she annoys you all the damn time.
ok. take a jackel. paint it. slap some mass drivers on it and voila you have turned a 21st century vehicle into a mass effect worthy armored scout car but seriously more vehicles would make it interesting. having a vehicle range from apc to slightly bigger apc with slightly thicker tires and gunship to......... where is the variety
Good point, I wonder can the hammerhead really be used as a mobile AAA emplacement, I mean it has guided rocket launcher so shouldn't that be able to knock down aircraft?
The Hammerhead has no altitude limiter. It's just set at 2m so normal tankers aren't confused to as why they're suddenly in an attack helicopter instead of an ATGM carrier. [editline]14th November 2010[/editline] xanatoast fix your fucking grammar goddamn
The Mako had a 155mm cannon with a mass accelerator, that's a pretty big gun.
bullshit this is a 155mm cannon, atleast it claimed in the blueprints for the ratte 1000 pfft, if the mako had a 155mm gun it would need to be larger
urdum This is the M41 HMC. It has a 155mm howitzer. It's built on the chassis of an M24 Chaffee light tank. The chassis of the Chaffee is ~5 meters long.
i appear to have been flummuxed by my sense of projectile scale.
Wow, you're dumb. The Ratte would have had two turreted 280mm and a hull 128mm (maus/jagdtiger gun).
So does anyone have any idea what Tali's race looks like?
If you take a good look at their masks you'll see that their faces are human-like in proportions. Their eyes also appear somehow...egyptian to me ? My guess it that their skintone will be dark. Wearing masks doesn't necessarily make them pale.
ITT: We talk about military vehicles.
i appear to have been flummuxed by my sense of projectile scale.
155mm is only 15.5cm or 6.1 inches
There is a thing called Mass Accelerators you know... You don't need a barrel that long.
bullshit this is a 155mm cannon, atleast it claimed in the blueprints for the ratte 1000 pfft, if the mako had a 155mm gun it would need to be larger
Lern 2 Codex
Stop talking about god damn tanks. Here's a picture to get back on topic.
More like "I'll feed your fish Commander." "Oh thanks Kelly." I came back to the sight of floating Illium Skald Fish.
I just got to that bit, if that bitch don't feed my fish, der gon' be hell to pay.
KELLY: Oh, Shepard, will you go out with me? SHEPARD: no fuck you bitch you killed all my fish goddamn

Oh my god Shepard that was the best night of my life! You got it baby, say how about we g- No messages for you Commander. :saddowns:

A remix using the most inspirational and thought provoking game and music at the same time imo.
The Hammerhead has no altitude limiter. [editline]14th November 2010[/editline] xanatoast fix your fucking grammar goddamn
So if it has no altitude limit, why do they even use gunships then?

man I wish in-game animation was as good as the pre-rendered
So if it has no altitude limit, why do they even use gunships then?
Because gunships are designed for controllability, while the Hammerhead is designed for speed and range.
Because gunships are designed for controllability, while the Hammerhead is designed for speed and range.
And dodging small obstacles.
I liked the make more than the hammerhead despite the hammerhead being much more mobile. Although the hammerhead would be way more useful on those impossible to navigate planets
And the Hammerhead is a recent Cerb development while the gunship has been around for years. [editline]14th November 2010[/editline] Since 2170 to be exact.
