24 days early? Many games have been teased for way longer. [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] Looks like the Thames to me. And I don't think we can say that the reuse of weapon models is enough to connect this to Mass Effect.
But it's not reused, they're remade and loook exactly the same, if it's a new game, why not make a new gun?
As much as I love ME I doubt we'll be this lucky so soon. It's about that new game they wanted to get into. I doubt we'll see ME3 until after DA2 is done. They seem to be rotating between the 2 series's since that's kinda their flagship games.
Uhh, I haven't seen any real discussion about it being ME3. It's pretty much agreed that it's a ME spinoff.
Whatever it is, I know Bioware will make an incredible game
[img_thumb]http://imgur.com/8ZvEE.png[/img_thumb] :buddy:?
I would play this. Star Wars Battlefront was great, so a Battlefront type game in the Mass Effect universe would be great.
Uhh, I haven't seen any real discussion about it being ME3. Didn't Bioware tweet some code relating to Shattered Steel or something from the 90's? It was in the News Node.
It wouldn't be the first contact war because there was shit all fighting in that. Anything on the ground was just bombarded from Orbit so any infantry would be decimated as soon as they got the slightest sense of where they were. I don't think there were than many space battles either as it was ended before the Alliance got their ships together.
Flinging asteroids to planets sound fun.
That's Starship troopers, not Mass Effect.

What about the Rachni wars? Wait, that might have been before first contact
What about the Rachni wars? Wait, that might have been before first contact
Long before. That was when there was just the Salarians, Asari and newly discovered Krogan. Don't even have Turians yet.
That's Starship troopers, not Mass Effect.
Turians did that in the First Contact War.
Does anyone know what the news on ME3 is?
They're trying to deliver it by 2011, that's pretty much it.
Impatient man is not happy.
Oh my just started replaying mass effect 2 yesterday and now all these new and exiting news!
Nah, it's not the Incisor that connects it to the ME universe, it's the fact that people were recently hired by Bioware Montreal to 'expand the ME franchise'. I can find the article if you want.
With multiplayer components as well. [editline]18th November 2010[/editline]
Multiplayer Programmers ensure the game engine and game systems work reliably and efficiently in a multiplayer environment. They work with both the front and back ends to take existing single player user experiences and make them multiplayer safe.
Oh boy, Call of Duty Mass Effect. That sounds fun.
Hey, the first Call of Duty games were actually good. And I haven't played BO yet.
All were good except 3. I didn't mind MW2, it was fun. [editline]19th November 2010[/editline] Effect of Mass: Modern Contact. Sounds like fun.
I actually enjoyed COD 3 as well. :v: But everyone has a different taste right ?
"We need more generic shooters. Please stop making some of the best RPG's in the business and make me a generic shooter." Pretty much how I feel about it. Screenshots look more like Gears of War, not Mass Effect. I'll buy it anyway probably and give it a fair chance, I just have low expectations if it is a Call of Duty inspired Mass Effect FPS. I just hope we still see RPGs come from Bioware.
a game that's designed to appeal more to the Call of Duty market
:geno: I get the feeling a large portion of the Call of Duty Market wouldn't even be interested in this, regardless of how similar to COD they try and make it.
You have to admit that a COD-style Mass Effect game would be incredible. It would be to Mass Effect as Republic Commando was to Star Wars.
You have to admit that a COD-style Mass Effect game would be incredible. It would be to Mass Effect as Republic Commando was to Star Wars.
Only if they pull it off right. Complete codification of an ME based FPS would ruin it.
I wish it was a third person battlefield-style game. 2143 WITH ALIENS!
guys GUYS Listen guys I just had the best- GUYS LISTEN I just had the best idea ever- The Mass Effect universe actually allows GUYS The Mass Effect universe actually allows the existence of the Star Wars universe in it!
