I bet in ME3, you find Thane in time to talk to him just as he dies.
:frown:
And then you recruit Kolyat. :haw:
Kolyat is a little bitch in my opinion, he doesn't have the skill Thane does.
I don't want Kolyat in my crew.
Kolyat hasn't made enough appearances for me to judge him. Also, I kind of wish all Drell weren't just reskins of Thane.

All Drell? Have there even been any others besides Kolyat?

There's also the drell from Lair of the Shadow Broker.
I remember seeing him post, but care to fill me in on why is he related to the current discussion?
He had a MASSIVE latex/gasmask fetish.

The Normandy will also be replaced by the Qwib Qwib.
The Normandy will also be replaced by the Qwib Qwib.
I am not Commander Shepard, and this is not my favourite ship name in the universe.
More importantly, it'll effect how your starting crew looks. I mean, after ME2, pretty much everyone you recruit is unlikely to leave the Normandy - especially now that it's gone rogue.
- Zaeed can be written out as retired, as can Kasumi.
- I don't think Thane can be written out as died; especially since completing his conversation tree leads to him and Shepard being 'brothers in arms to the end'.
- Jacob, Tali, Garrus and Miranda have no reason to leave Shepard.
- Samara seems pretty dedicated to destroying the Reapers
- Legion seems to be on some quest of it's own.
- Jack could probably do whatever.
Although all of the above are ultimate effected by your interactions with them in ME2 to some extent. Dump Tali for Liara? Maybe she's got a reason to go. Romance Jack? Then maybe she has a reason to calm down and stay.
God knows how they're going to do this.
- I want some closure with Zaeed, he was one of those character's that had enormous potential, which was squandered by an extremely limited ability to converse. Kasumi will probably go about doing her thing, maybe she leaves a red rose in your cabin before you leave (her calling card, after all.)
- Thane will probably die in ME3, it'll most likely be all emotional and drawn-out, but we all know it's coming sooner or later.
- Samara is definitely going to leave after the events of Mass Effect 2, as per her code. I'd love to have a fight against her if I played as a renegade, however.
- Legion will possibly make a return, albeit in a different suit of armor, I'd imagine he'll make a VISUAL appearance when the Geth faction shows up to help you in whatever final battle Bioware intends, but before then he'll definitely be heard from via an e-mail or indirect allusion.
- Jacob, Tali, Garrus and Miranda will possibly be starting crew, not too sure of what will happen with them.
- Jack is one of the tougher ones for me, personally. Realistically I'd assume she leaves, but she actually was a good character if you got past the excessive swearing (and her VA was pretty good.) Depending on your actions thoughout ME2, she'll either be a reformed woman (maybe she leaves to teach at Jump Zero?) Or a hateful bitch that might return to try and kill you (if you saved the base.)
- Grunt will leave to help the Krogan tribes, even if you are his Battlemaster (after all, he talks about joining the clans too many times to simply ignore their problems once the main mission is done.)
The Normandy will also be replaced by the Qwib Qwib.
I'm pretty sure Shep would much prefer being a Vas Ektomi.
Kasumi will probably go about doing her thing, maybe she leaves a red rose in your cabin before you leave (her calling card, after all.)
That's her calling card when she steals something.
...Unless she kidnaps Jacob.
Where's Liara in all this?
Tali: What ? You are accusing me of bringing live geth parts to the Flotilla ? I NEVER BROUGHT ANY LIVE GETH PA...*notices Legion*
Well, to be fair, Shepard's the one that brought that geth.

The one dude you help in LotSB.
Where's Liara in all this?
Dead as a doornail.

I really hope she does
Liara will defiantly be back as she is the only crew member that doesn't have the potential to be dead
I really liked Jack as a character so I hope she will be back,
There's so many variables its really hard to tell what will happen, I keep thinking Shepard might be imprisoned by the alliance/council for working with Cerberus as it would explain why you had the rebuild your crew in ME3

That could also tie into the next time you punch the reporter.
"I've had enough of your unfounded accusations!"
Actually I can safely say that the next "gap" DLC for Mass Effect 2 will be related to the Alliance, possibly continuing a relationship between you and Ashley/Kaidan.
Where's Liara in all this?
She's now [sp]The Shadow Broker[/sp] so her hands are a little tied.
Maybe her ship is a "safe" location, similar to the Normandy, in Mass Effect 3?
I don't think that any of the squad members (except perhaps for Zaeed and Kasumi) will leave in ME3.
Most of ME2 was about Shepard recruiting them.
I named my computer "The Makron". +50 Renegade points if you get the reference.
The Quake series. My fifty points, please.
A thought occurs. Liara is a powerful information broker by the end of ME2, and one of the few people Shepard trusts. Shep never really trusts cerberus, even as renegade he's only sticking with TIM because he had the info he needed at the time. The Council doesn't really trust him because he's worked with Cerberus. Perhaps Liara will take the role of intel/ "Voice of god" in ME3? Her job doesn't really allow her to run off with Shepard without screwing the balance of galactic power pretty well.
I recently got LOTSB and I must say it was really well done in comparison to the other DLCs I have. Still havent played overlord though.
I do like how Liara is following me everywhere...

4 man squads are best, going to try and get all squad members to spawn.
There's also the drell from Lair of the Shadow Broker.
My bad, I have yet to play that.
I dont buy DLC often but I might get it, seems to tie into the story enough to be necessary. Never getting Kasumi though, she just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
He had a MASSIVE latex/gasmask fetish.
What's so wrong about that anyway? I mean it looks nice and... nevermind.
I want a show-down between ME1 romance and ME2 romance.
Kaiden v Garrus. :unsmigghh:

Shadow Broker DLC is really awesome.

What about the priiiiiiize?
I want all all squadmates from ME1 and ME2 (depending on choices of course) and new ones in ME3.
I want all all squadmates from ME1 and ME2 (depending on choices of course) and new ones in ME3.
And I want more choices that really count. If two squadmates would have to die in ME2, there would have been something to think about besides the decision at the end of the suicide mission. I want decisions with impact on how I play the sequals. Sad they drift away from ideas like this, because they want to make the game so friendly for rookies.
Oh Miranda and Garrus, you so perfect team. One bro and one sis.

Garrus would fuck that kid up, it's not even a contest.

Ah yes, Rapist.
