At the end of Heavy Rain when
at least I won't be needing to buy a PS3 anymore... as for my favorite ending, the good endings to STALKER: Call of Pripyat.
Uncharted 2.
Every Half-Life S.T.A.L.K.E.R Metro 2033
Metro 2033
The broken steel ending in Fallout 3 was cool, but then you just get dropped off after the mission is over and there's nothing more. The most recent ending I enjoyed was in the Saboteur, it was pretty cool.
You son of a bitch. I REALLY wish I didn't read that.
Then why did you quote it for everyone to see again?
STALKER Call Of Pripyat had a strangely satisfying ending, I liked how you got an explanation for each character/area based on how you handled it in game. Crysis & Crysis Warhead's endings were pretty good, although nothing compares to the Carrier battle in DX10, ORGASMIC!
I liked the ending to Persona 3.
I really liked the ending of Metro 2033. You did stuff there that you don't do in other games so often.
Hell yeah, I loved the ending of Metro 2033, and Mass Effect 1,2.
Wow, and here I was putting mirrors edge on my list of worst endings ever. Didn't know people liked it. But enough picking fights... My favorite ending to a game ever was Earthbound. Giygas is the most memorable final boss of all time, and everything afterwards was pretty much perfect falling action.
Super Mario Bros. [sp]when you save the princess[/sp]
Off the top of my head, both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 had good endings.
"Da...I know a place :smug:
Call of Duty: World at War. Seriously, look at this shit with epic music at the background. :siren:Major Spoilers:siren:

Finally when some shit is happening we suddenly get to see the credits?" :|
I liked the Legendary Ending of Halo 1.
Staff Sergeant Johnson struggles with a Stealth Elite for an Assault Rifle, among a multitude of dead Flood forms with the Pillar of Autumn in the background. Sergeant Johnson: "C'mere you motherf-! I'm gonna... Grrr... ah." They suddenly stop and turn to see the ship about to explode in the distance. Sergeant Johnson: "Oh shi..." Johnson turns to the Elite. Sergeant Johnson: "This is it, baby! (affectionately) Hold me." Hugging Elite: "...mmf." The two embrace as the ship explodes and the Elite additionally places his right hand on Sergeant Johnson's bottom.

Ones that aren't a cliff hanger :argh:
That's an invite to a sequel. You like sequels, don't you?
I think we can all agree that Saint's Row 2 had the worst ending.
I think we can all agree that Saint's Row 2 had the worst ending.
Funnest game I've ever played though.
Well, I dont think you can count this as a game ending... But the ending after you kill the Lich king in Wow
Super Mario 64 ending, oh god, that music. :crying:
Portal
I agree with that! Can't wait for number 2
Halo. Racing to an aircraft in a Warthog, while being shot at and explosions going off was great. An then to top it off, you get to watch the ring explode from outer space. Good times.
i literally fell back in my chair in complete awe
Red Alert 2 sure had a good ending with the Russian commander hiding under his desk in underwear.
