Ah, good ol' days when stop motion was the biggest means (and still is) of lego animation with choppy animations because the legs and arms had no joints whatsoever to make smooth looking movements.

I couldn't play for very long because I had a really weird glitch where the whole city would slowly slide into the distance.
Apparently it was quite frequent, and never got patched.
Funny enough, Lego Island one works way better than 2, also has better graphics. The view distance in LI2 is simply a joke, too.
I always did like Lego Island 1's graphics since it was like running around in a world made of LEGOs instead of how these modern games are loosely based on LEGOs, but are basically Star Wars/Harry Potter/Indiana Jones/Batman games.
I didn't like the Island series that much, because building played a really small part in the games. You could customize your jetski, but it wasn't like Lego Racers where it actually mattered.
