Someone please gift me Killing floor. I have heard it is great, and I am broke.
Just wondering, how do these threads work exactly? Are you meant to provide some sort of evidence that you deserve the game you want and hope someone is kind enough gift it to you or do you simply just make a request for a game and some nice fellow with a bit of extra cash throws it your way?
I have 2 killing floor guest passes which I need to use before Jan 14th. I'd be happy to give them away if anyone wants to try before they buy.

yep, that practically sums it up, and you also have the people that rage due to someone not gifting them anything in 2 threads.

See several dozen begging for stuff at any one time, and as soon as someone shows they gifted, they get hounded by everyone.
Though at one point, I saw a bunch of people gifting randomly with people just lining up to receive. Was very awesome.

I think simply making a request should be enough. But if you got a funny/moving story, that might help. Also, spamming your request over and over seems to be heavily used, but that would only put me off gifting anyone. Then again, the thread moves awfully fast now and then... so I dunno. Just post and do whatever I guess.
Proof I'm not just a beggar, I'm a giver too.
This guy was on the same server as me earlier in the year, about 2 weeks after my birthday, and 12 year olds were bragging in all talk about how they got $50 for Christmas, I was getting sick of it so I said I got $150, now shut the fuck up. This guy said he got nothing and for me to shut the fuck up, so I spent the last of my birthday money buying him ep 1 and 2

If I hadn't of bought him that, I would have had money in paypal to get Burnout Paradise: Ultimate box
I am flat broke at the moment, and I would really love this game. It's only $5, can anyone open up their heart and make a stranger happy this Christmas :unsmith:

It usually helps to be good freinds with the gifter too

Getting angry at others for no good reason sounds like something a 12 year old would do
Thank you very much for the guess pass shott. Now, if anyone feels that they want to buy me the full game, that would make this Christmas so much better. Bye everyone, and merry Christmas (in 4 days).
:unsmith:
yeh it happened at the start of this thread, with kevinseven getting angry at everyone due to him not getting super meat boy off anybody.
I'm going to try some smart reverse psychology here.
DO NOT GIFT ME A GAME! THAT IS AN ORDER!
I don't get this thread, everyone gifts stuff and then wants stuff in return, why not just buy the stuff you want?
im getting sick of my avatar, any ideas of what i should change it to?
Can't sleep, going back on facepunch. :v:
Can someone get me Global Agenda? It's 50% off.
Okay good night.
Maybe tomorrow.

I think the idea is that, if I were you to gift you a 2 dollar game, you'd give someone a 2 dollar game, and then that person would gift me a 2 dollar game. So everyone gives and gets. Only problem is that a lot of people don't have the money to give, and there are the few scrooges about.

Gonna do some number crunching when I get home from work. I think I might be able to gift it to you. If the sale is in effect for 10 more hours that is, and if no-one has given it to you by then :downs:
It usually helps to be good freinds with the gifter too
That too.
There should be some rule here about what happens once you get gifted. A lot of people just starts requesting more. Which is kinda silly.

Because my bank account balance is 0.01, and by the time I get paid, and get the money to paypal, the sale will be over

I kind of get it, but it seems silly to me.
Although I can see there has been some really nice people who have given more than they have received which is pretty cool.
Are there "Steam wallet" cards? Like redeemable cards that you can buy in a store?
One disagree doesn't do it for me.

10 hours 41 minutes, just enough time
Thanks so much
And requesting more is just greedy, if you do that you don't deserve the original gift in the first place
Could someone gift me the Civ IV pack?
Just bought the witcher, what can I expect?
