Heavy Rain, when his older son dies.
I felt sad when [sp]Dekker kills your friend Hawk[/sp] in Soldier of Fortune 1 (at 2.40) He even does a moonwalk afterwards, the sick fuck.
All metal gear solid games.
Braid That ending was like a punch in the stomach.
JEsus christ the ending was genious!
If you don't cry in Heavy Rain you are not human.
I didn't cry, and (correct me if I'm wrong) i am human.
The ladder in mgs3 And when you had to kill [sp]The boss[/sp] in mgs3.
I don't know about you people, but in CoD4 when [sp]Gaz gets executed by Zahkaev[/sp] I got choked up. Also when [sp]Eli dies in EP2[/sp].
Episode Two was the closest game to making me cry. Poor [sp]Eli[/sp]
A tear almost shed when that happened. Also, when the man who voiced for Breen died this year (even though it's not in-game) I was sad.

Portal
I was saddened when Sergei died. He was big, touch, muscular, and never spoke a word. Yet he was somehow likable.
STALKER Clear Sky "And today's weather is a 30% chance of grenade precipitation."
If you don't cry in Heavy Rain you are not human.
Shit I must be a robot!
I got stuffed up when [sp]Eli died[/sp] in HL2:EP2. T'was a really powerful sequence.
Then I started tearing up.
I only have legitimately cried at two games. The end of Ratchet and Clank 1 made me cry, keep in mind I was 10 at the time and I had spent 6 months trying to beat it, it was so happy yet so sad. In Mass Effect 2 when [sp]You meet back up with Wrex, and even though he'd been a massive reclusive bastard to everyone, you could see in his big ugly face how disgruntled he was in his position, then when Shepard returns alive he spirals into a daze of overjoyed confusion like a dog who hasn't seen you for a year. You can hear it in his typically restrained and careful voice as he grabs Shepard's arm; "Shepard? Shepard! ...My friend!"[/sp] I have felt massive emotional impact, however, at these points: Mass Effect 1: [sp]When my Shepard - who had been such a hardass, work-focused bitch (yet still likeable) who was completely indifferent about every situation - was presumed dead, then emerged alive, and actually smiled. This was part of the reason I literally instantly bought and downloaded ME2 Collector's Edition the moment the credits ended[/sp] Mass Effect 2: [sp]If you choose to get Miranda to talk to her long-lost sister even though she didn't want to, then you talk to her on the ship and she's incredibly happy and enthusiastic[/sp] I apologize for my excessively formal language, I've been writing essays in exams for the last two weeks.
I cried during Ravenholm, if that counts. [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] What? I was like 9.
Killing yes man in new vegas, he made me feel really bad. Anyone else tried this?
WaW on Veteran.
Red Dead Redemption. Or MGS4
Fable: TLC, several times. For example when you get the decision to kill or spare your sister's life. In my first playthrough when I played good I immediatly spared her life. But I felt so bad inside when I killed her in my evil playthrough.
I killed her without remorse, i wanted the goddamn sword, but then it turned out that the sword sucked anyway. And i never really got that actually, you get the option to kill her in the first game, but in both the sequels they just say "fuck your decision to be a bad guy and kill your sister to get a bad ass sword, even though this entire series premise is that you can choose whether you want to be good or evil and that your choices has conciquenses, were are just going to say that you are a good guy anyway, ha ha!" Actually, i think im gonna go and post that in the "Things you have about games you love" thread.
I didn't cry, and (correct me if I'm wrong) i am human.
Maybe you had like a very happy go lucky playthrough, who knows how far the story can stretch? I'm not about to find out. But some of those things are like a carefully crafted acid test for human empathy. You are an emotionless hulk.
I shed an OCD tear when[sp]The Companion Cube died[/sp]in Portal. But then he came back at the end. So I sucked that tear back up.
omg so sad... portal is a masterpiece....

No but seriously, I agree, Fable 1 made the evil and good paths quite clear and it actually felt like you were evil or good. It's a shame they tried so much new in Fable 2, they ruined all that was good with the first Fable.

And unfortunately, i have been made to believe that its become even worse in fable 3. And i dont get it, its not that evil or anything, i just care more about getting a cool sword than saving my sister, whats so evil about that?
At the end of Metal Gear Solid 1, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Metal Gear Solid 3. I've yet to play 4, because I don't own a PS3. But arghh, those first three really got me. Especially at the end of Metal Gear Solid 3, when you find out EVA betrays you or something, I was bawling my eyes out. I don't need to spoiler tag that, if you haven't played the game yet you won't ever play it. Which is a shame, really, it's a beautiful game. Except for Raiden in MGS2, he's a pussy. :saddowns:
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey when [sp]Faith dies[/sp] I can't think of any other game that has made me sad, great game everyone should give it a play.

Halfquake :frown: You can't escape. You can't survive. You suffer simply for their entertainment.
Mafia 2 ending was sad So was Red dead redemption
