If anyone wants to help, could you tell me how to load scripts made in PKSVUI into the actual rom? I can get as far as loading them in Advmap, but no clue as to how I insert them. I've got a working script waiting for him.

I might just block off Brock's gym until I can figure out what the fuck. But I'm having loads of fun in Mt. Moon. When I'm finished it'll definitely be worth the effort going through that shithole. General idea is to make all the dungeons optional, but offer big rewards for going through them. Also wild pokemon that sometimes pose a serious threat (lv45 golems running around in there, man). I also reckon each gym leader will have a contingency pokemon of a surprise type, to stop people dicking all the way through their squad with one super-effective pokemon.
Learning as I go, though. If anyone has any ideas then let me know.

In the forest my eevee gets posind I'm rushing back when i see a pokeball in the middle of the road that i somehow missed. I go up to it EEVEE HAS FAINTED. Well i got the pokeball. YOU GOT AN ANTIDOTE.

Got Emerald on an Emulator. I think I might try and mod it myself. One thing I want to do is to change it so you don't have to trade Pokemon like Kadabra or Onyx tom make them evolve.

Is it possible to "hack" the speed of the bicycle? If so, make it so that it moves at about 5x the original speed and change the sprite into... say, a rocket engine. Or something like that.

Hacking Pokemon games is the simplest rom hacking out there. People already made lots of programs for it. Try something else like Advance Wars and we'll talk.

Update! Mostly changes to wild pokemon throughout the game. Have fun with this while I try and fix Brock and tweak the lineups of the other gyms.
