I've always played Mechwarrior games with keyboard and mouse.
I have a joystick I use for flight sims, but for some reason I've never been comfortable using it in Mechwarrior.

I have that joystick, it looks cool and is functional in buttons but it moves terribly.
The spring-based stick is horrible for aiming or movement. I even having trouble using it for something like FSX. I do NOT reccomend this joystick.

Yeah, MechWarrior is too much of a classic game to get fucked by something that dumb. All of the old versions of the game didn't have regeneration, so why should they start now by implementing it in this version? I doubt that they'd try and follow COD in an already successful series.

It's already been confirmed in the interview that mechs will self-repair. They probably won't do it really fast or anything, and you might need to have it as a module, but it's confirmed to be in.

Yeah I think it could be cool to have a repair module, as long as it costs precious tonnage to spend on engine/heatsinks/weaponry/etc, and as long as it's very gradual and doesn't repair stuff like lost limbs.

That's a lot of mechs and equipment, more than any other MW game IIRC. Even though there's no clan mechs/tech (some of the equipment/weapons looks like it was clan-era-only stuff though.....), they sure are making up for it with the sure volume of other mechs/tech that never made it into previous MW games.

I hate to break your bubble like this, but it's NOT a list of stuff they're going to put into the game, it's a list of stuff that they might be able put into the game.
It's pretty much a list all the equipment from the Battletech universe available at that point in the timeline.
In other words, most of this stuff probably won't be in the game at all, only some of it will.

It's still coming. Mektek.net still has to finish upgrading their hardware to deal with the traffic and make sure the final version they'll release is stable.
It's probably still going to take a while. Unfortunately, they found out about it about the same time everyone else did, so they didn't have time to prepare beforehand.

It will be so worth the wait in the end since it's gonna have multiplayer again (damn you Microsoft), also 100 more new mechs, weapons and maps.
