The later levels aren't so much tactical as they are a combination of trial and error and luck.
I still can't beat the level in the hotel. The suspects are more like terrorists now.
After playing this with the Sheriff's Special Forces realism mod (SSF 3.1) I can honestly say I'll never fucking touch vanilla/default SWAT 4 again. SSF mod is how SWAT 4 should've been right from the get go. Holy fuck it's awesome.
I'll play coop if I reinstall :) (where has the :) smilie gone :( )
Those damn assholes that hide in the bathrooms right?
this and also when they hide right behind a door.
I liked this game, it made me laugh when I saw:
Those only served to remind me how much Tribes Vengeance sucked ass.
I thought it wasn't bad for the £1.99 I paid for it. :v:
Ah, and is Kung Fu Foot (or whatever) a real movie or a parody of a real movie? (in-game advertising)
One of my favorite first-person games ever. The atmosphere, the missions, the graphics, the sound, the gameplay, everything is amazing.
Also the Sniper's name is "Sierra" (which is probably a reference to the developers).
While thats possible, I think its more because S in the phonetic alphabet is Sierra, which is the sniper's codename(or whatever ya call it).
Got this for the PC version, somewhere stuffed into my cupboard.
I wanted to arrest every person i could; but it took way too long to draw out each weapon. I gave up and just killed anyone holding a gun.
the multiplayer in this game is great because of all the tacticool nerdes that get really angry if you don't do everything exactly their way
Eh, my multiplayer experience consisted of getting stinger nades, flash bangs, and gas nades thrown at me and dying 85 times per second. Until I played a LAN match with a friend on co-op, that was a blast.
The most fun I had in the game was when I stunned that old lady with my SWAT friends
It's gabe on the first picture of the thread. Look at the 3rd guy behind the two guys, it's a fat man, aka gabe.
looks a good game, might look into it
i realy love this game i still play it but i play the expansion stetchkov syndicate its more awsoem but more people play swat 4 i mostly play baricaded suspects is most fun when u have friends as team mates here a throw all me victems in THE NEVER ENDING DOOR!
I remember this, I played it a lot back then. The best part about multiplayer was tazing teammates from behind, then hide and see them attacking the first teammate they saw, which quickly degenerated into a free for all teamkilling/tazing spree.
VIP was pretty fun if was being played with people that didn't just shoot the vip every round
acds thats is not fun(well it is sometimes xD)its destrying the game play ^^ sometimes when i play with friends whe choice co-op but then play hide and seek in c-op that i alot of fun finding a hiding spot is dangeroes with all those suspects and and that suitcase(forgot the name ^^) mode is fun to mostly play that with teh clan
If Valve made a SWAT game I would do this:
Also the Sniper's name is "Sierra""
Sierra is the usual callsign for snipers in police, and otherwise, operations. Sierra is the NATO phonetic for S
Every time there is a thread about this game, I re-install it. I'll see where the thread is when I get home from my honeymoon.
Get on the ground
I am a big fan of this game, haven't played it in ages (Nvidia's awesome OpenGL drivers causing stuttering on Unreal Engine 2's fault). Hit me up if you plan playing it co-op.
Are you 5? Also ^____^^ KAAWWWAAII~~~
yeah close to that 17 and this is kawai :3
Unloading pepperballs into your friend's face is always entertaining. Or blasting beanbags into every suspect you find until they submit to your rule is even better.
i always in for a game add me on xfire its ^MP^sKuNk
I preferred SWAT3 to SWAT4, but both were great games.
