Servers are back up I guess, I can create my character
If you can't connect it isn't because the SERVERS are down, it is because the LOGIN servers are down. There was a serverwide message stating that they were taking the LOGIN servers down for maintenance (For 15 minutes.), and that it wouldn't effect you if you are already playing, but other people can not login. I was playing fine, the servers did NOT go down, it was merely the login servers. The servers did NOT crash either! Get your shit straight before you tell people things that aren't true.

someone make a step by step guide on how to do this? i was 14mb away and just needed the shadercache.hogg and now that i installed the standalone i need to download 2.8gb...

Im reinstalling the latest client + the stand alone patch, hope that works at least.
