I don't know the exact amount but you can have a few and it does cost resources to change/ make new ones.

They think I'm being extreme for saying that I think everything should be soloable if the solo player knows what to do.
I prefer soloing honestly. I mean, you can always go grab a group or something if you really want to, but if suddenly everybody is fucking stupid and you can't find a good group, you're fucked.

Can anyone invite PyroCF into the Facepunch group? Glad they fixed the character creator last patch, wouldn't allow you to select serpent skin or many of the other patterns. Now I've redone my character and it looks pretty awesome.
