Wow, I was really looking forward to this, only to find out you can only play for a few hours two days out of the week. What a let down.
I wish we could at least make characters while the servers are down. I could spend hours in the character creation.
Dammit I'm retarded, I have it updating, but it'll get like 40 % done and I'll click it away, missing the windowshade button and hitting the X. I don't notice it until much later and have to restart the process again.
I've done this four times, thank god it's only an update & I already have the rest of the game in.

Got my key earlier today, would have had it patched and on by now but I got struck with some sickness until now that didn't allow me to get on.
Still a bit queasy but I am patching it now :) can't wait to try this.

Try again a few times. It actually did that to me too and I figured I'd try it again to see if there was a character creator I could mess around in for the hell of it. The patch randomly started.
Make sure your firewall isn't enabled. That did it for me.

How does the launcher work? It doesn't make sense to me, it says I downloaded 168 mb but patched 700 mb. What the hell?
Edit: Now it crashed and when I tried to launch it again it said "No shards found". What the BUTTFUCK?

When it is Wednesday, play as early as you can guys, because the character creation takes bloody ages as it is sooo in depth!
For all the test days whining people:
Cryptic's explanation for that was to be able to implemented changes in between test days, and actually gather feedback. And I'm guessing it's easier for them to not maintain the servers constantly.
They are planning to keep the servers up constantly throughout open beta, but characters will be wiped before release regardless.

Firstly, you should be able to create superhero groups for PvP. Before every group vs. group PvP fight, the leader of each team gets to trash talk for a few seconds over VOIP before the fight starts.
It'd be so much better if your teams had cheesy catchphrases and everything. Also if someone has power armour, the voice should be distorted, like in the trailer.
What do you think? I mean, come on, having the best catchphrase is what being a hero is all about.
