1. Set up your own CC
2. Make sure it's empty except for you
3. Click the Clan tab on the chat
4. If it starts spamming, it will do that into the CC, not into the public chat
5. Have fun

I spoke with Gower at Runefest, he said they're revamping their botting detection software next month to detect anything actively modifying the game client, or otherwise shows signs of many autotrainers.
He also said something about heuristics and logical scanning.
They said that 3 months ago too. It's all bull crap.

Several bots don't even change the client, it's not a problem. That said, if they do implement this the RSBot devs will have to change their stuff substantially.

Actually... Assuming it was the real Runescape community, and not a bunch of hired actors, they were all pretty cool guys.. And over 16. And not morbidly obese.
And there were some pretty hot chicks there as well.
Sure, there were some cosplayers, but most people just came in jeans and a T-shirt.
