Last year was pretty bad. Ubisoft and Microsoft both had really fucking terrible conferences, Nintendo left a lot of people confused for days with the Wii U. This is really not as bad.

If we were just talking about Microsoft and maybe EA's conference, I'd say yes. However, I'd say Ubisoft and Sony did a fantastic job this year, even with that dull Wonderbook demonstration.

Honestly, it's worth it. Xbox 360 is great, but I absolutely love how many exclusives the PS3 has, as well as the great online service. And I especially like how Playstation marketing tends to treat its customers like adults.

I think a problem with the All-stars (Haven't played it so this is speculation) is that I feel a lot of characters might slip too similar. For instance, Nathan Drake and Solid Snake are both badass gunslinger types, as well as whatever Helghast character they'll throw in there.
I honestly had to go google to figure out what Fat Princess was.
And still it boggled me why they would add her. I mean, really?

Agreed.
Nintendo has tons of characters that are all [I]completely different[/I], and that's why it works. SSB isn't something that can really be copied.
