Looks like there's some sort of "Ant Eater" bulborb type in Pikmin 3. Can eat Pikmin from a long distance with it's tongue.

and still more engaging and well-written than most games on the market...Heavy Rain was an incredible experience, and one of my favorite games.
oh and the graphics are excellent, but the story takes precedence, as it should

I hope it lets you have a customizable character, I hated that you couldn't do that in Dead Island. A customizable character lets you have some personalization factor and would put you closer to a character that you yourself created.
