It's a seemingly minor thing, but the web swinging was one of the things that made Spider-Man 2 SO GOOD. An open-world Spider-Man game without dynamic web slinging is like if Arkham City didn't give you any gadgets aside from the Batarang. But I guess there's still hope... It'd be a shame if it turned out to be terrible though, it LOOKS really creative (Scorpion is fucking terrifying).

I've watched a couple of gameplay trailers to see if I can spot whether it's dynamic web slinging or not and it's impossible to tell due to the camera angle. I can see why it appears not to be, the web looks as if it's attaching to something above, but no gameplay I've seen has featured someone slinging a web whilst they're above any near buildings. And they said it was going to be all 3DS games, so none of the gimmicky and/or Wii U stuff you so pessimistically believe they'll show.

Okay, as far as Amazing Spider-Man goes, I just saw an interview where the guy mentions them using the swinging mechanic from 2 and improving upon it. So unless they're totally retarded and see getting rid of the dynamic aspect as "fixing it", everything should be fine. What was bad in the second half?
