Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello???
Hello.
I only caught the end of the conference, guess I didn't miss much by the reaction.
No mention of so many games :( Why won't they even acknowledge Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney?
Where is my fucking Animal Crossing. I am in tears right now.
Hello.
hi
Not one mention of Animal Crossing
I am sad but my wallet is happy
hi
Can you answer my question about what mario does with all the coins he collects. if he was so rich he wouldn't need to be a shitty toilet plumber anymore.
super capitalist mario 2
NET REVENUE TO SMALL IN WEST GLORIOUS GAMES FOR GLORIOUS JAPAN ONLY [editline]7th June 2012[/editline] He uses them to make more Mario games
But Layton games do consistently well and Ace Attorney has a considerable cult following.
Didn't he say they would announce a new game or so at the beginning of the thing? Why is my heart so empty. It's because a new Yoshi game wasn't announced!
I am sad but my wallet is happy
I'm the exact opposite. It sucks we didn't see Animal Crossing, but honestly, Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, New Super Mario Bros, Castlevania, the 3D Pokedex and Dream World are enough to tide me over for now.
It's because a new Yoshi game wasn't announced!
It probably would've sucked like all the Yoshi games since Yoshi's Island. :[
I really, really hope I don't end up regretting buying my 3DS
show good 3DS confrence no animal crossing where's my animal crossing
So far I find that I'm only excited for Assassin's Creed 3, Watch Dogs, and The Last of Us. Everything is just...well...meh.
It probably would've sucked like all the Yoshi games since Yoshi's Island. :[
You take that back Yoshi's Story was the best. THE BEST
Onthe subject of Mario, what do they use coins for? is there an actual currency system lore wise? it doesn't seem like anyone really needs to buy anything
It's for Bean Juice. It's like coffee, but made of beans, and it only exists in the Beanbean kingdom.
You take that back Yoshi's Story was the best. THE BEST
I would have loved at least an updated port of Yoshi's Story, they wanted to do one for the GBA back in the day, but it eventually became the ok Topsy Turvy. A Yoshi's Story updated to today's standards with some new levels and challenges thrown in would rock. ROCK! The 3D would be awesome on the levels with the Shy Guy Pirates in the background. The speed runs would keep me busy, I used to beat the game 15 minutes rushing, I could do better if I still had it today.
Onthe subject of Mario, what do they use coins for? is there an actual currency system lore wise? it doesn't seem like anyone really needs to buy anything
In the classic Mario games 100 coins = lives, so you're buying 1-ups sort of, in the 3D Mario games 100 yellow coins/5 red coins = star, so you're buying stars sort of, in the Mario Party and the RPGs coins were used for all sorts of things, in Luigi's Mansion coins are used to buy a not-haunted house at the end of the game, in Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart: Super Circuit (The GBA one) coins were sort of used as hit points, and in the WarioLand games coins had a couple of uses, though the main idea was that Wario really loves money and just wants to get more of it. As far as lore goes however there's no way to answer simply because the lore of the Mario franchise is a gigantic nonsensical clusterfuck and Nintendo makes no effort to establish any sort of continuity or canon. The only things that aren't disputable are the things that Nintendo personally clarified, which is pretty much limited to Mario & Luigi having never lived in Brooklyn, Birdo being female, and the Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country not being the same character as the Donkey Kong from the arcade games. Almost everything else is debatable.
Well I'd say that 3DS e3 thing was alright. Nothing mindblowing, but nothing offensive either. Just solid. Crap, pageking. have a Saxxy mario
Yeah, I just watched the conference, seemed pretty good to me. Paper Mario was awesome.
"We are excited to confirm a NEW game announcement coming to the US: the new 3DS Fire Emblem! More info to come." This was on Twitter.
Well it's nice to see a new Pikmin game, though I probably won't even bother getting a Wii U anyway.
I'll probably get a Wii U eventually, and buy a Gamecube.
I'll probably get a Wii U eventually, and buy a Gamecube.
you have no idea how badly I want a gamecube again but I can't find one that works for an extended period of time :c
you have no idea how badly I want a gamecube again but I can't find one that works for an extended period of time :c
I sold my Gamecube and got a Wii. I regret doing that.
I sold my Gamecube and got a Wii. I regret doing that.
I did that too, no regrets though
Well, I'm interested in the Wii U. But I want to see what the Wii U can do for games I can already get on the PC. I don't want to buy another console "just for the exclusives", especially since most of the games they announced that are third party are already out. While I'll never buy Just Dance 4, the whole dynamic they had going seemed like a fun way to use the gamepad. They have to encourage third parties to do something different with the Wii U, create new, original games for it. Heck, that's the thing that is missing in the Wii. Interesting, original IPs.
