Am I one of the few people who truly believe that this years E3 was kind of a huge let down?

Honestly it might let their hardware look better down the line.

Last I heard, Cliff Blezinski was desperately trying to bash it into their heads that that the next-gen consoles don't have enough power.

Heh, everyone's disappointed. I just came in expecting to be shown NOTHING but more gimmicky bullshit. Here I am walking away from it with some sick Planetside 2 footage, some faith in Halo 4, gameplay footage of Dishonored, and Watch Dogs. I'm not too beaten up.

I wasn't disappointed with this year's E3, although that may be because I set my expectations ridiculously low after last year. While the conferences were still dreadfully dull, they were at least shorter and less motion control/3D orientated. There was some great footage from games I was already looking forward to like The Last of Us, Hawken, Assassin's Creed 3, Sim City, and Dishonored, as well as some great looking surprises like Watch Dog, Beyond, and Pikmin 3. Plus, when you look past all of the high profile stuff there were some really neat little projects to be found like John Carmack's VR headset made out of duct tape.

i just realized they didn't show anything of the new rainbow six i bet it's gonna be some shit plot when we see it again with the american terrorists replaced with average arabic and/or russian terrorists

Well I got my fix of PlanetSide 2 hype, so I'm good. Kind of disappointed about the naming of SimCity, though what a shitty trend that is

I'm really looking forward to Simcity and Crysis 3.

Just saw the "Crytek makes every other shooter its bitch," quote from 360 Gamer UK, late as this is. The only thing that could make that quote more stupid-sounding is if it was from one of the developers. Then we could draw parallels with Daikatana. :v:
