GTA V? :'(
It's been said over and over again. Rockstar was never supposed be there seeing as they like to make their own announcements. Valve was only going to showcase CSGO or something. It would be a nice surprise but game devs tend to keep their word.
Can't a man dream
Well I got my fix of PlanetSide 2 hype, so I'm good. Kind of disappointed about the naming of SimCity, though what a shitty trend that is
Sim City 4 was released almost 10 years ago, so I don't think a reboot is out of the question.
^ Yes they did. It's on youtube.
Link? The IGN videos doesnt have any sound...
Sorry if someone else has already brought this up, but I have a feeling that when WiiU launches, it may get 3rd party support for a long time, but the fact that next year or the year after could lead to PS4 and 720, the graphics in WiiU will make it a last gen console to developers, and much like the Wii right now, and slowly lose support from other developers as they make games for systems with better specs. I still want a WiiU, but I'm afraid of that happening all over again. Another thing, any news on Monster Hunter games? Capcom just loves to release the series in the most inconvenient ways. PS2, PSP(the latest is japan only), PS3(japan only), Wii, and now 3DS in NA later on.

Just look how little we've come since Crysis 4 years ago compared to games that came 4 years before that. Seems like we're getting to the point where increased computing power is giving diminishing returns.

Crysis came out in 2007. It's not that increasing computing power gives diminishing return, it's just that current-gen consoles are fairly outdated hardware-wise, and most devs don't bother improving their games graphically when it won't come off as good on a console than on an high-end or even medium PC. Hell, even the rumored specs of next-gen consoles are said to be lacking power by some developers With enough computing power, we could probably do ray-tracing rendering in real time, and that would be a drastic improvement compared to what we have nowadays.
vsync be blessed if we ever get ray tracing, but I doubt we'll get there any time soon.
I do not really embrace graphical advancement, but I hope that the next gen consoles have more power to them or that pc hardware will become cheaper.
I was in Europe while E3 was happening, what happened? I saw someone mention HAWKEN earlier up on the page?
I liked this year E3, mainly because I didn't bother to watch it at all due to it being a major disappointment that was last year. All the good games that appear (and as far as I known, the only games that existed in E3) is Beyond: Two Souls and Watchdogs.

The only reason why E3 sucks is that they throw all this flashy shit at you to advertise their shitty game or their facebook bullshit. The trailers and stuff of actual games are good.
