Assassins Creed has always been about planning escape and evasion over pure stealth.

It never has been about pure stealth, I understand that. It's not Hitman or Splinter Cell (OLD hitman, OLD splinter cell). But he literally just walked up to the front door of the fort where like 7 people were posted, and directly fought all of them with no consequence for no reason. He did NOTHING resembling stealth, he did nothing even slightly carefully. Fuck, the trailer before the gameplay shows him riding his horse into a like of hundreds of men fighting them all line he's in the god damn matrix.

yeah indeed, the game looks amazing. people might not know it but revelations was the major improvement in the franchise and it's what has made me want ACIII.
Well I'm completely sold on Watch Dogs and I've only seen 10 minutes of gameplay.

you've been able to do that since AC1, i'm not sure what the problem is
Why do I have a feeling that watch_dog will be the game what will win most of the e3 game awards etc. I doubt that sony and nintendo can beat ubisoft conference.

I'm fine with this. The thing that's pissing me off most this E3 is everyone is afraid of new ambitious IPs. Everything we've seen is a play it safe sequel to another game which are mostly all becoming the same damn game, the same linear run and gun gears of duty medal of black ops 3.

maybe watch dogs is sorta of an mmo, where you have a largeish world to go around in and you get missions against (maybe with as well) other players?
then again i guess that was too scripted with the cutscenes and what not to be that, unless they wanted it to look really good
