Conviction: Sam snaps someone's neck and then shoots 4 guys in the head. He then leaves the bodies in the open.
All the other SC games: Sam sneaks up on someone, grabs him by the neck and interrogates him. He gets information as to where a fuse box is. Sam then strangles the guard and hides his body in a dark corner of a room. He spends a few minutes avoiding guards to make his way to the fusebox. He clips a wire and sneaks past a previously electric fence.
Yep, Conviction has a lot of stealth.
