Here's my server. It may have an old as fuck map and old as fuck source, but at least it isn't flooded with idiots. It isn't appearing on the hub so I'll have to post it here.

You'll be given a specific code to set as your ringtone - it's on the text pane at the start of the round and it's in your notes under the "notes" verb. Go into the PDA's messenger, open up the ringtone selection text box and type the code in there. Bam, traitor order menu.

I think the problem with SS13 it is actually a intergalactic prison for the criminally insane and any retarded crew they don't care to keep on a real station. Or perhaps a virtual matrix like prison for the same people.
I got this idea during a traitor round. I was the quartermaster and traitor, there was two other quartermasters. One of them simply left and never returned at the beginning of the round, probably died somewhere on the station. The other (timewaster) saw me order my traitor gear and tried to murder me, got sleepy penned and shoved out an airlock. (thus wasting my sleepy pen)
So now I was alone. nobody was alerted and the usual string of gibbering was blazing out of the radio. I took no notice, I had to kill the detective, Ivan. with no real weapon and only a freedom implant.
Than the next problem arises. Mister Ristov (he had a first name, I can't remember it though, so it's john) This toolshed breaks into my office in engineer gear. and emotes 'Ristov approaches the fag with a welder held behind his back grinning' I proceed to say 'get the fuck out of my office or I'm calling security' he than runs up, steals the pen off my desk (the regular kind) and attacks me with it, Assuredly knowing I'm the traitor and trying to murder me in his own retard way with a sleepy pen I don't have. He than brushes off his failure as 'trying to have a light sabre battle'
So soon security arrives, Dragging a corpse in, I decide to ignore this because it's probably standard shit for them. I tell them the engineer is in my office and won't fuck off. Security being security walks in with his taser in hand ready to mete out some fucking justice. Ristov being a 'pro ss13 player' proceeds to smash his arrow keys like they are covered with ants and scream obscenities down the radio.
The security officer having wasted his taser and unable to beat him walks out of my office and goes for backup. Ristov swears vengeance, claiming I am crazy and that I hit him with a toolbox. He than walls off the office with reinforced walls. My office. I decide to distangle myself from this clearly mental defect and let security deal with him while I do my objective.
I tell the detective my co-worker, Timewaster, Was murdered and I suspect Ristov and that I can provide a body if he accompanies me down a maintenance tunnel, On the way however we are sidetracked by the same officer who tells me that he plans to let them in if I come too, wearing cuffs.
Having invested in a freedom implant I decide to oblige, Only protesting mildly. The detective follows me because he probably had nothing better to do. this is good.
Once in the office with the security officer and Ristov, the detective waiting outside in case ristov runs for it Ristov apparently realises he has no weapons, As does the officer, He uncuffs me, They than proceed to run around the office like retard comets the officer shooting taserbeams at him and Ristov crying bloody murder down the radio
Ristov in between running around and bitching manages to get a space suit on and run out of the airlock. He than sits outside the door proclaiming his innocence. Clearly saying I was the evil one because I 'hit him with a tool box' the officer reminds him he is in an area he has no clearance to be in and he barricaded the place, Ristov, not seeing the error in this, decides he is still innocent.
After attempting to suck us both out the airlock Ristov finally comes back inside where the detective, who must have got super bored, walks in and shoots him in the chest with a .38
Damn, said both me and the security guy, Who than cuffed Ristov, Wisely it turned out since he was still alive and functional.
After some pleasantries were exchanged, Ristov yelling police brutality and how he clearly hadn't tried to suck us into the void or resist arrest, the officer than dragged Ristov to the cell leaving me standing next to the detective I was meant to murder with a toolbox in my hand a few feet away from an airlock.
Four seconds later Ivan the detective was floating peacefully through space.
My objective complete I decide to wait for the shuttle to come. I wander through the halls wondering what the rest of the station was up to during this episode. Corpses litter the halls and there was a lot of shit, Yes literal shit. This is because some admin thought it'd be funny to include. Plus since the main player base of SS13 is either criminally insane or regularly insane it makes sense they would smear their environment with shit.
Than R.P Masters approaches me. (Aka [url=http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=140362]133753P34K[/url]) and smears me with shit. And proclaims us brothers, Me half playing my character, AKA a sane person surrounded by retards I decide to be disgusted, I say "What. OH FUCK THIS IS SHIT YOU SICK FUCK" or words to that effect and run off, He chases me, This is clearly a sign he is after some robust combat. So I smash his fucking face with my trusty toolbox.
A passing retard dressed in medical gear and combat armour sees me abusing this shit covered demon with my toolbox and decides he likes the look of my quartermaster gear or something, He than proceeds to molest me with a security bat, than RP masters finishes the job with a oxygen tank.
I died, And said in OOC After much planning and care I managed to kill my target, Than R.P masters beats me to death after covering me with shit.
Despite this breach of rules that would have most goonstation 13 admins fondling themselves in anticipation as they banned my ass. a kind spirit anonymously resurrects me, renames me and replaces my ID and teleports me far away from the retard battle. I thank this jesuslike figure of mercy and compassion using the ingame admin talk to button, I get no response so I have no idea who to thank. But I thank them sincerely.
During this interlude with the admin the shuttle was called and R.P masters was loudly honking like a fuckwit in OOC and down the radio how I was the traitor. Luckily I was renamed in game.
I got away on the shuttle and won. I also beat R.P masters to unconsciousness and threw him off the shuttle before we left, Nobody gave a shit.

What a fucking amazing round. I was a doctor, I was going around, being really nice and cheery and helping people out. I had about 5 people that knew me well, and at least most of the station knew me as a trustworthy doctor.
Anyway, I'm trying to get some guys out of the security room (they were trapped) by unscrewing the windows and stuff. As i'm doing this, some asshole comes and punches me a few times. I tell him to piss off, then when he does it again, I whip out my syringe gun and blast him full of sleep toxins. The bugger gets away, but at least he was out of it for a good minute or so. If I caught him, I'd have muzzled him and handcuffed him, and let the roboticist take his brain.
Ass Man that is a fantastic story and you are indeed right that the station is typically full of defective sub-human creatures.
Guys, if the Chaplain comes anywhere near you, kill the bastard. He kept hitting me with his book, until I became so dumb I couldn't do anything. If I had something in my hand, I'd drop it after a few seconds. I'd have seizures often, and my speech was impaired. I usually yelled things, rather than quietly speaking them. Most things I said were put over on the radio.
I hate the chaplain.

I got mad after being murdered for sure. The shit wasn't the maddening part. But does serve to point out that indeed these people are less than human.
I mean you work so hard to keep in character, Cover your tracks, Dispose of you gear and get your work done with minimal casualties than some tool walks by and brains you simply because you are standing still.
I'd have been better off with a cloak and a revolver in retrospect knowing how the round was going to devolve. But the admin was nice and that restored my faith.

If you're wondering why I beat RP masters it's because he followed me with that same intensity as the toolbox happy crowd generally have. You know where the two characters steak along hallways and through airlocks like two human shaped blobs in a stream of grey vomit issuing from the mouth of hell. I figured he was going to knock me over or out and perform some of that robust combat action.

Yesterday, the Chaplain showed up in the medbay and started preaching his nonsense. The captain showed up and stunned him, then we dragged him into the chaplain's office, all the while he was shouting "GOD WILL NOT ALLOW THIS!" and "YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!" and then we shoved him out the airlock.
Weird. I just joined, grabbed a toolbox and promptly was whacked about about by some guy :(

I'm not complaining. I'm just asking you to stop accusing me of doing what I used to do, I was in an arguement with a goonmin and that's it. First time I've even posted in this thread in a long time.
I've been kinda interested in this game ever since I first read about it, but the crazy complexity of everything kept turning me away.
How does a newbie survive in this game? I've been looking into things, but there's only so much you can get out of a wiki. The game seems like it could potentially be really awesome once you master it's complexity.
