Yes, think of them as very useful tools, which have a small chance of coming to life.
Also great for figuring out things that involve people. Like chemistry or genetics. Problem is you can't enjoy your new hulk once you make it.
I got tied to a chair and no one will help me, this is awful. Also, how do you take peoples gas masks off?

Oops, I just blew up the toxin lab with a plasma bomb because I messed up the timer.
Hate it when incompetent fucks try to release plasma in toxins, then I just close the cycle door on them and they're trapped. One guy had no clue at all to heat plasma, so some other guy was guiding him through. He dragged a plasma canister into the safety space between the connector ports and the heating room. Started whacking it with a welder that was on, so I cycle the door shut on him. Watched him die cause he didn't know how to turn on oxygen tank.
that guy sounded p cool [editline]01:55PM[/editline] Some dude named Elspet Baum attacks me with a fire extinquisher, with an injector in his hand, so I disarm him and take the extinquisher, and see it's a monkey syringe. He wouldn't stop fucking coming back and trying to kill me so I smashed his face in for being a cunt
What the hell, Lallander is a total docuhebag admin. Some guy was running around smashing the lights, so I assumed he was greifing and adminhelped it, I told him some idiot named R.P. Masters was running around smashing lights for no reason, and he kept saying shit like What would cause a man to act without reason? Instead of actually resolving the fucking problem. I later shortened the problem by saying randomly instead of for no reason. He then goes "OH I THOUGHT YOU SAID HE WAS DOING IT FOR NO REASON NOW YOU SAY RANDOMLY?" I jokingly said "be quiet badmin" and he bans me with the reason "OH LOOK I AM BANNING YOU RANDOMLY FOR NO REASON" What a fucker.
Yeah that was pretty shit ban. Was it a perma?
Cunt needs to be permaed.
was that a joke at my expense
No. Elspet Baum is fucking awful.
I hate it when people knock you out and restrain you for the stupidest of reasons and when you try to explain yourself they run off. Fucking retarded.
I hate when you're playing as a Security Officer, and you've been informed by someone that the person you're near is 1) A murderer or 2) Some other dipshit sub-type. I always, stun them, cuff them, take them to the Brig, THEN question them. This is good for me, because I know if I try to talk to them on the spot, they'll go all autistic on me and run away, and I'll never see em again. What pisses me off is when you take em to the Brig, they cry so much and don't shut the hell up about you abusing them. Makes sense to stun and cuff someone who could likely run away. Am I right? Or is this wrong? I usually question them, then warn them and let them go. I tell em if I see em doing anything bad again, I will use force to bring em in. I only detain them if I have solid evidence.

The moment someone does something, they usually stun and detain or just kill on the spot. And for the smallest infractions (like pushing them aside, causing them to go into a stunstick fury). I hate to say it, though, but your methods might change soon if SS13 is still in it's grief-happy craziness (and by my match yesterday that ended up with Monkey Station, I do believe it still is), since most people will randomly attack you just to steal your stuff and such.

Only things I keep in my hands are a flash and a pair of handcuffs. That way, if I'm disarmed, I don't lose valuable stuff.) and if I try and arrest em for it, they whine so bad. Also, if I arrest someone to question them, 90% of the time they'll keep coming back to grief me and be a general nuisance. They'll constantly come into the Brig and push me around whilst I'm trying to arrest someone, or they'll keep trying to pull my arrested person away. Really pisses me off. Any strategies to fuck these people over? I can never catch em, cause they always run really fast and just mash their keyboard buttons as if they're having a seizure. So if I try and taze em they get away. If I try to set beepsky on em, they either smash him to pieces, or a retarded officer pulls him away from me and goes on patrol.
I got my goddamn ID taken away from me by a security officer, they're so awful. And why is it everytime I get cloned after 10 minutes I just die?
Can someone explain genetics? I know everything about genetics except for changing their DNA manually.. To change the DNA blocks you need to use radiation, and that changes the block to something random. Is that the only way to do it? And also from the wiki, I read things like "Above 0x802 is female, below 0x803 is male". I don't know anything about hexadecimal, so could someone explain how to tell if you've got a block higher/lower than 0x803?
I have no idea sorry. I only know how to turn them into a monkey, I normally guess on changing the DNA wise
Being traitor and chemist and murdering people with sulfur is p cool mang
..what I got banned because I logged off, after being jailed, was I suppose to just sit there and think about it? he told me he'd jobban me from security, so I told him ok, and logged off to do something else, so then he rages because I guess he didn't get the chance to jobban me, big whoop, I don't want to be security anyways, and it isn't my fault he was too busy calling me a faggot to jobban me.
Is it worth getting into this game, looks pretty fun but I've never tried it
Is it worth getting into this game, looks pretty fun but I've never tried it
How do you know how it looks? I need a video / picture of it In-Game :v:
Is it worth getting into this game, looks pretty fun but I've never tried it
Its awesome! [editline]07:41PM[/editline] Even if it does have a steep learning curve...
Its awesome! [editline]07:41PM[/editline] Even if it does have a steep learning curve...
Don't worry, I play dwarf fortress, so long as its below/ equal in difficulty to that I should be fine
Yeah you forgot to mention the part you were beating like everyone you saw with toolboxes pubbie
uh, that wasn't me, I just threw a dude into the confessional, and he was already cuffed/afk from beepski
Was Job banned this morning as security. Gonna wait before I appeal
There really needs to be a way to stop people who are running away. As long as someone has like 5 blocks to move on, he can avoid getting arrest indefinitely.
