Why wait till you appeal? Just appeal now, that way, seeing as you probably don't miss being a security officer, you won't have to wait that long when you DO want to play a security officer. Basically, it's like being banned an hour before you leave to go on holiday. Sure, you can wait till you get back to appeal, but no doubt by then you'd wanna play. So why not get the appeal out the way? [editline]08:28PM[/editline]
There really needs to be a way to stop people who are running away. As long as someone has like 5 blocks to move on, he can avoid getting arrest indefinitely.
Stun or flash. Obviously, once they run away down a hall, either chase em or get Beepsky after them. I find getting beepsky on em is easier, rather than chasing them for ages.
Asked Rathen, he said it was best until the guy who banned us forgot xD [editline]08:33PM[/editline] I'll give it a shot anyway, do I just appeal on the forums like any other ban? Even if this is a job-ban
Can rathen or someone else unban me? it's 20 hours, and all I did was toss an afk into a confessional, then logged off after squaring away that I was getting a job ban.
there's nothing downs about that.
Is someone willing to play with me and show me what the fuck to do
Why not just give admins like a "shield" that gives people who try to harm/move them a message "You're pretty sure that's not a good idea" or something When they're AFK/admining of course
Why not just give admins like a "shield" that gives people who try to harm/move them a message "You're pretty sure that's not a good idea" or something When they're AFK/admining of course
Crap idea. Why should admins be treated any differently? If you were gonna kill an AFKer for no reason than to kill, why should you be warned whether it's an admin you're killing, or just a regular? You deserve the ban you'd get. Makes you think twice about killing random people.
Can someone explain genetics? I know everything about genetics except for changing their DNA manually.. To change the DNA blocks you need to use radiation, and that changes the block to something random. Is that the only way to do it? And also from the wiki, I read things like "Above 0x802 is female, below 0x803 is male". I don't know anything about hexadecimal, so could someone explain how to tell if you've got a block higher/lower than 0x803?
For super powers use blocks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 letters determine what you get, what each block is and if there are any superpowers are random at start. Species is 14. For species you want a number over 0 for human and under 0 for monkey (may be wrong. it is one or the other) the 0x802 is I believe 0 in the game because of math, it is made simple, if the value is over 0 it is female and below 0 (letters) is male.
Yeah I like being a ban trap by being afk/adminning actually. Catches the real cunts. Parakon, you need to stop getting yourself banned. I'm going to let this one sit for a while.
The only reason i'm banned is because he didn't have time to job ban me, but alright.

I hate getting mental retardedness disease. I can't do anything. Even worse, I'm captain and keep slipping and headbutting because of my disease and I am about to die! Is there any cure for when your character catches mental retardedness? (I'm serious, it is actually a disease, you gibber stuff randomly, fart many many times, and shit like that)

In Structural Enzymes (not unique identifier) main blocks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13 are randomized for powers and diseases. 4 control powers, 4 control disabilities. So I'd recommend getting a monkey (he'll die eventually from radiation) and turning him into a human real quick; Modify block 14 to be less than 802 to do so. Once he's a human, copy his structural enzymes into a buffer, you should be able to figure that out. So modify a block to be above the hexadecimals mentioned below, eject the sample, if he shows no obvious signs (telekinesis and hulk are the only two powers you can see without being the test subject yourself) then put him back in, reset his DNA with the DNA buffer you saved of the original human, and move on to the next block. Now the way the "lesss than 802" and whatever works is like this: Instead of using just numbers, it uses hexadecimals. The wiki gives a confusing as fuck explanation to this, but here's the "number" line: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F I can't remember exactly, there may or may not be a G or a 9, but you get the idea right? So the number DAC is greater than 123. 674 is less than A25. For powers, you need to modify the 8 blocks I mentioned above to be equal to or above these hexadecimals:
Hulk - 0xDAC X-ray vision - 0xBEA Fire Resistance - 0xBEA Telekinesis - 0xDAC
Now my question to some of you: The wiki also mentions probability. What does this probability mean? Does it mean even if you get the right block above the right hexadecimal, it still won't give the power?
Parakon fucking appeal your bans on the unban forum, same goes for anyone on here just sitting there whining about being banned and waiting for us to come to you. http://ss13.donglabs.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3

Changing the blocks is all random, so do we really have to keep changing a single block over and over until we find it equal to or above what's needed? That'd take quite a while
I haven't played in a while, this station layout confuses me, Mulebots are annoying as shit by the way.
mulebots are awesome, I was amazed when I watched one make a delivery.
mulebots are awesome, I was amazed when I watched one make a delivery.
Not when one carrying a proximity bomb slams into you and kills you.
being killed by a mulebot doing someone's evil bidding is awesome [editline]11:33PM[/editline] besides that they're slow as fuck, you could've moved
Whoever is Thomas Aquinas, if you're from here - fuck you. HoP gave me an all-access pass for whatever reason, and when I try helping you and several others out of the powerless Captain's room, you smack me with a fire extinguisher for no reason which led to me getting killed. And before you complain that I nearly killed you, self-fucking-defense.
I was trying to stop it :saddowns:
you died a hero, too bad everyone was too busy trying to kill eachother and eating their own feces to notice
Thomas and a few other guys tied me up and stole my shit when I was a Captain for no reason. It was retarded.

That'd take quite a while
Yeah, apply the default amount of radiation until it is over the required number. Takes forever, which is why I don't like geneticist because it turns you into a hermit that never leaves his lab. It can be worth it though, making hulk syringes and giving them out like candy. That is, if you find out what hulk is before the station deteriorates/round ends. [editline]05:05PM[/editline] Oh and Mulebots. What do they do and where can I find/make one?
mulebots make deliveries for quartermasters, so retards don't ambush them and run off with supplies they can't do anything with. it's what all those new delivery entrances are for.
everytime i try to play this game it seems like nothing ever works, i sit there and click on actions like 400 times and nothing happens till like 10 minutes later
Thats called lag. Go to a different server.
The only server that ever has people on is Dev.
Thomas and a few other guys tied me up and stole my shit when I was a Captain for no reason. It was retarded.
That's called the revolution game mode.
