Well it's definitely not the bugs, they aren't rare.
I’ve also heard about weird item duplication bugs with dropped items, and a severe performance reduction.

New mob should be reindeer and you have to catch and tame eight, then craft a sled with the crafting box. OH GOD IT WOULD BE AWESOME. could make it like a boat were it breaks after a certain amount of time.

Transitions between Biomes aren't as noticeable. as before. snow actually slowly builds up when you get close to a snow biome instead of just starting.
The hovering names in the inventory are pretty cool.
