I honestly can't stand the way notch updates. He should test a little more so I don't get all hyped up and then not being able to play due to things being all messed up.
I feel like he codes minecraft the same way I do college projects. Put it off forever, do it last minute, think its awesome, then when i present it in class everyone notices all these mistakes...

Yeah I know, it's a paid alpha/beta, whatever. We're the testers. I'm sure that once the game's been actually released as a full release, he'll have someone actually testing it. Right now it's basically up to us to go "NOTCH WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING MY TREES ARE MADE OF DIAMOND" or whatever happens to be glitching up at the time. If you don't like how this is being run, well, that's too damn bad. I'm so sorry you're used to your perfect CoD patches and all that, but this is how indie development happens.

At least he's going to fix them and he's aware of the problems, although I admit he should've tested a bit more, he can't predict everything that will happen, I doubt he knew there would be a performance bug. Also, he's already fixed two bugs, that's a start.

Think about this.
Notch doesn't have a vanilla client, he can only see bugs that appear to him.
When he released the update it was completely stable to him.
Your vanilla client and your system is different from his, your bugs are not things he could forsee.
I just played an old save in unexplored chunks, no pigmen.

I followed everything up to the part where you have to patch the zip. file, but I get this error.

How would I go about installing Dokus RPG pack into the new texture pack installer? I stopped playing for a while and I cant figure it out
