I put digitalcraft as the texture pack for a video with absolutely no minecraft in it. It was a picture of the Computer window showing my harddrives and a picture of my harddrives. asiojafnAOfabofABNfabrRAGE

I'm debating whether to keep my customized painterly texture pack or go back to vanilla. I like the pack and all, but I just don't want to get "sucked in" to modding the shit out of it. That, and I'm worried it'll run slower with high-res packs or the betterlight mod.
Did the AO mod get updated to work for the latest version of minecraft?
Its called betterlight now, and yes
Did the AO mod get updated to work for the latest version of minecraft?
It was updated to Better Light, which adds the really fancy, smoothed lighting for lights too now. Ex. torches, lava, etc
Seeing as painterly is 16x16 just like the default it wont slow you down at all. my automerge
I figured. I realize it isn't optimized very well, but I don't understand why I run TF2 better than Minecraft at times. That's why I'm worried about adding the BetterLight mod, as I've heard it causes more performance issues.
