I'm mostly posting in the forum right now because I keep getting distracted by Christmas movies on TV and the fact that I need to decide what to build next.
After mining some obsidian and creating a Portal in the Watchtower, I took a trip to the Nether. I can tell you now, it is unwise to go in with less than 64 arrows, as those Ghasts are EVERYWHERE. They just didn't stop coming, and weren't letting me build my forward base.
It was hard to take them out, since they were spitting bombs and drifting about like assholes, making it hard for my arrows to meet their mark, even it they only take 3 of them... I just hope later updates bring in a more accurate weapon to deal with these bastards.
I keep getting bored of the caves I find, for some reason i've lost interest in exploring :saddowns:

I just can't stop switching to peaceful mode. Those fucking monsters are actually hampering my enjoyment of the game, essentially making me stop playing the game every night.

Still hosting my beta server, 99.3.99.129 , Has connection stability issues though, notch fixes SMP bugs but makes SMP connections unstable.
