Why do so many people interpret Herobrine as evil? I mean, seriously, I've seen this one sig with Herobrine at the bottom with all the creepers and skeletons and shit. In that mod that adds humans, he spawns in your house at night. You guys seem to think that just because he was featured in a pretty well made creepypasta (which was more like interestingpasta but that doesn't have the same ring to it), he is OBV SUPAR EVIL DOODZ.
I mean, if he really is a digital manifestation of Notch's dead brother, why is he still around? Lets look at a rundown of what happens to dead guys, they either stay dead and do nothing (Atheism), go to Heaven (Christianity), go to whatever other afterlife your strange religion has or maybe reincarnate as something. Because Minecraft is (supposedly) set in medieval times, let's say that it uses a Christian method of beliefs. Herobrine was an evil person when he was alive but he died and he couldn't get accepted into Heaven, so he stalks the earth, begging eternal forgiveness from the denizens of Minecraft.
Think about it.
I think it makes sense.
