I get horrible lag in singleplayer, but when I join a mp server I get none. So does anyone have a server I could play on?

Thats nothing, you know how sometimes the map generator has sand floating, well one time I had a house built under a giant floating sand island, I got sick of it so i figured i would just break the blocks to get rid of it. I hit one, and then my whole house, items and all, were buried under sand.

That's nothing. You know how the map generator sometimes has lava lakes? Well, I built my house into the side of a mountain with a lava lake on top of it, cooped up. I was expanding my storage room(which had about EVERYTHING I had, including diamond pickaxes), hit into the lava, and the lava destroyed everything.
