Just got the Sanguine texture pack, and I'm working on a player skin.
Is it bad that Sanguine lags me? It doesn't seem like a 128-bit pack should lag considering I can play TF2 at decent settings.

TF2 isn't poorly optimized. Minecraft is in alpha and for every block in the game there is at most 6 sides using that 128 bit texture. Multiply that by all blocks in the world and you sir have yourself a lot of strain on your drivers.
I know like 7-8 kids at my school that all play minecraft (one of them I bought their account for them :h:).
We all join a private server hosted by a friend of mine. :iia:
Hopefully when Beta comes out, it'll be more optimized then.

A few friends of mine ridicule this one kid because he pays to play on an SMP server.
He committed suicide later, and then he joined our much more superior LAN server
Diamonds are forever, unless you lose them to a lava pool (put up no swimming signs) or a server side inventory glitch (I lost 84 gunpowder and 1 diamond!)
Weird, every time I close minecraft an error text file is created called hs_err_pid#### (numbers seem random)
Anyone have a fix?
