It started with 2 small islands which I wanted to level to sea floor, after that I made the biggest island into a huge mining pit (1/4 way bottom atm). I took a look at the small island and decided I wanted a small house there but my ocd obsession in this game made me make the island into a perfect block, so for the hell of it I tried to make a pyramid. Continuing with the mining pit made me realize that swimming sucks so I built a bridge, that bridge turned into the left side of the huge square and after that the huge square followed quickly. I noticed something when i was looking from a mountain at my house and thats the shape, it's a blueprint for a huge pyramid. My plan is to make it either a huge wooden pyramid or a huge glass pyramid.

Also is that the same engine as oblivion? It looks sort of the same. If they really made graphics like this I would jizz everywhere.
I bet that would be possible with Dx11 Tesselation and some id Tech 5

Like I realize Minecraft has it's own charm with it's art style. But damn, realistic minecraft, that would be something.
So I'm going to play multiplayer for the first time. Recommend me a server.

So does Minecraft not like Global AA on ATi cards or something? These black lines are killing me.
I have a 6850, and the only way to get rid of em (that I know of) is to turn global AA completely off. But then it looks bad. :emo:

Everyone has different definitions of griefing.
I, for instance, am an op on this (stoner) guy's server. The last map I completely covered in TNT craters, abused cuboids, fucked shit up all over the place. I even blew this guys house up once with TNT. Everybody just accepted it, because "That's just Derp being Derp". I guess if you're an op on a server that's so uptight it can't deal with a few burned down houses, well, that's your fault if you do end up having fu- annoying people.

Found a gigantic hole in a mountain going straight down, with a wide entrance at the bottom leading out of the mountain. After looking at this, and remembering my time with mob spawner GUI, I decided to repurpose it. It is now for all intents and purposes, a hell pit, covered in mud, and the hell rock, plus lightstone. The JohnSmith texture pack also makes it look sufficiently alien. I don't have any pictures of it now, but I will post this picture of my portal to hell, which is just above the lip of the hell area.

It has an "advanced" system, that transports the wheat through a canal so I can pick it up on the other end, ensuring I never have to step on the plants.
