That's nothing compared to what happened to me.
I was mining while holding all of my valuable minerals as well as my diamond sword and pickaxe. Despite the fact that I placed torches everywhere, a creeper spawned behind me. I didn't even realize that until it blew up and instantly killed me. After I respawned, I desperately ran back to the mine where I died, which was at least a mile away. Mobs were constantly attacking me on all sides, but I managed to run past all of them, having nothing to lose. Eventually, I made it to the mine.
Guess what?
Another creeper was blocking the entrance. I managed to punch it to death, but it took way too long. I made it back just in time to see my last item disappear. [I]Son of a fucking bitch.[/I]
Now [I]that[/I] is trolling.

well, i'm start writing a story about minecraft then

I'm excited to see what surprises await in the beta.
I'm basically just spending my time waiting for notch to finish eating breakfast and to release the update.
So Epona and I were riding along, ravaging the land of all its wealth, when suddenly, it began to get dark. Boy, had the time flown. I panicked, thinking about all the horrible creatures (and humans) of the night that could possibly hurt my poor Epona. I started to make a break for my house, (which is [i]quite[/i] a ways away) but knew I would never make it. Luckily, while making a mad dash for my far-away house, we stumbled on a cave. Quickly, I lead Epona into the cave.
She was clearly in distress, so I dismounted to calm her. I gave her some bread, and started to barricade the entrance. Suddenly, a loud whinny from Epona startled me to turn around, and lo and behold, a zombie was making a mad limp towards me! Quickly, I bombarded it with arrows, sealed up the way it came from, and lit the area. And now...we wait. I heard a lion outside, so before I lead Epona out there, I'll check it out.
In the morning, of course. All in due time...

Have I played it? Yes. Have I played it recently? No. Its just that the horse I have is a dark brown, and naming it (her) Epona is much easier then saying "horse" all the time. Besides, OoT was a large part of my childhood. If I ever got a real horse, I would name it Epona.

Has anyone else noticed that the terrain generator doesn't make landscapes as cool as it did before? It used to make gigantic cliffs, little pathways under them, or neat bridges between mountains, but now it seems uncommon to find even one slightly big cliff.
