I don't use the mod, I just know it exists. I know you can control horses, but I don't think you can control ogres.

You can only put a saddle on horses, and they require a bit of riding to break them in, otherwise they'll throw you in the air (not enough to kill you). There's a separate pack in the Mo' Creatures thread with just the horses, but I believe the MC forums are down like Firen said.

Yes, you put a saddle on them and ride them. No, you cannot put a saddle on and ride an ogre. Yes, you can get the horses as a separate download.

But i cant seem to launch the editor .jar file.

After a little cleaning up my house, I heard a bone-chilling howl outside. I took a look out my window, and there was a pack of wolves, clawing at the doors of my stable. Poor Epona must have been scared stiff! I rushed into action, drawing my sword, and slaying the 3 of them. Afterward, in the morning, I heard the familiar [i]twang[/i] of an arrow. Shocked, wondering how any skeleton survived the morning, I investigated.
It was a bandit!
I drew my bow, and faced him, 1 on 1. I eventually won, stopping further harassment of my horses. I ran into my house, got my camera, and took a picture of the aftermath of the face-off. To the left, an unidentified person advances towards my house. I will have a chat with him later.
