Also, has "peninsula inspection day" been used has a thread title? If not, is it good enough for the next thread?
I spawned in my experimental server, pitch dark, gave myself some wood and a sapling knowing none spawned, found coal in the dark, made torches, found iron, found tons of diamond, and setup a base of operations for any one on who may want to join. 99.3.99.129:25566

Well a few pages ago there was a giant fight over some guy saying that Minecraft was terrible, and he posted his info for people to come fight him. Someone posted that on 4chan, and then some 4chan dudes from the original flamer's home town are gonna go beat him up and post content.
We're all waiting patiently for the violent outcome.
Is there an official Facepunch clan and/or server?

Well, i just tried to buy minecraft from a family members card. It for some reason locked the card. I have the 15$ just not in my bank. So, i have no way of getting it and its the last chance to get it before it goes to beta. Sucks a whole fucking lot. If someone gift it to me i could possible work it out to pay them back.

What'd be the best way to contact Notch? A couple weeks ago, I bought one of my friends a copy of Minecraft (before the gift code thing), and I got the receipt and everything for it, but when he tries to start the game up, it says "you must purchase game to play alpha blah blah" or whatever.

Joined the server. I died instantly. Couldn't see shit and got killed by a zombie...

I really don't think Notch understands what "beta" means. There's still a bunch of broken shit and things that need to be fixed but NOPE beta tomorrow hurp durp.
I rather liked the experiment a few hours ago, it was a decent attempt, even though it all broke down in the end. I hope someone decides to try it again.

I alternate between custom and original.
