Valve already use this on in-house testers to see where their eyes are drawn during gameplay to see what people focus on and care about.

(They also found that silouets are important to!)

Valve already uses an eye tracking device for playtesting; they use it so that they can improve the areas that the players mostly look at in maps. That system costs $50,000
