FFXII is the most "FF" game since FF9, which almost doesn't count because it was made as a tribute to "FF".
The gameplay does not make an FF.
Because Tactics is more "FF" than most FF's.
FFXII sucked pretty much.
FF games have towns and are long.
Good enough?
Yes, yes it does.
Tactics is a copy and paste Tactics RPG.
It doesn't have the ATB or any innovative features.
It's "FF" to the core.
You might as well just not visit this thread anymore because you're clearly wrong.

Ahh fuck, Typo'd.
I meant FFXIII.
I'll go fix that.

Oh, are opinions outlawed now?

Mr. High and Mighty
Opinions and delusion are different.
At least FFXIII wasn't godly awful like FFXII, who the hell thought it would be cool to run around and hit shit, hell if they were going to do that they might as well have refined it more.
FF games have towns and are long.

FF13 needs towns. This game would be so much more epic if I could explore the world.
Though I do understand how it works, these heros are pretty much screwed if they dilly dally. The more time goes on the closer they get to [sp]turning into undead things[/sp]. So it's not like they can fool around. Plus they are being hunted everywhere they go, there's no escaping it. So to keep consistency with the story it makes sense to be stuck on a linear path.
I like towns in my FF's.
They have scanners to find L'Cie wherever they are and when they find L'Cie, they purge the city.
The heroes are trying to save Cocoon, not kill it. Having towns would kill the story.
Shame, but one had to go, and Towns it was.
Opinions and delusion are different.
Right, I forgot that if someone says something they don't agree with it's labeled as a delusion.
When they're creating unsubstantiated arguments and labelling them to opinions to give them a sense of credibility, it wouldn't be impossible to argue that their reasoning and opinion about the subject matter is a delusional effort to validate their own opinion.
This game isn't perfect you know. Hell, isn't even close to the best in the series.
Not even close to the best.
Not even close to perfect. Then again, Nothing is.
However, It's a genuinely good game. And the claims it's nothing
like "FF" are just untrue.

Maybe for you, but I personally thought that it was boring.
This "argument" could go on forever so I'm just going to leave it at that.
Fair enough.
