• Why did you choose pc over console
Because one game represents a whole community :downs:
People take the kids on MW2 and say it's the console community I could go on for a while for console games that aren't full of kids
Can you play four player split screen on pc? It's easer
Do you even know what LAN means?
Grew up with PC gaming.
This. Besides, I mostly play RTS/FPS, so console isn't a very good option here. And when you have a good pc, you don't really need a console, unless you really want the exclusives.
My hatred for consoles started when developers went console exclusive or made shitty ports to PC months after releasing it on a console. I'm essentially boycotting consoles because of that, it's however a useless war I'm not going to win.
Can you play four player split screen on pc? It's easer
Last time I checked, there was a difference between lan parties and split screen.
I play both PC and Xbox360, but I like PC more. It's much more relaxing playing on Keyboard+Mouse, than controller.
I have both PC and XBox 360,but my choose is PC. (i don't want to pay for LIVE shit)
PC. PS3. 360 PC has MMO's PS3 has some awesome exclusives. 360... well, it has some good exclusives but not my style. Wouldn't be without either.
Mods..And custom stuff...However when i play PC games i find myself really into the game, While with a console it doesn't work that much boy unless on a super hard diffculty.
Since someone mentioned it. Jokes aside, I play both. Though I definitely play the PC most (and mostly prefer it). Reasons: Mods Freedom Cheaper (yes, it's cheaper) Lower latencies Can do a lot more I prefer M&K That said I play on consoles regularly anyway, mostly PS3 though (the 360 is just loosing momentum for me).
PC can do more, Mods, regular updates for games and good ol' RTS'.
pc because of : keyboard + mouse mods updates and mainly because of lego racers 2 and Hype:the time quest on PC
Grew up with PC gaming, couldn't aim for shit with a gamepad. Got a PS3 recently, learning.
PC can be upgraded, it keeps getting stronger and stronger, whereas consoles upgrade at a much slower pace, and cost a lot more. PC's have mods and tons of great indie games, lots of customization in general. PC's have huge communities and you can always find some friends to play with. Consoles are standardized, their games are optimized for them, and I don't have to worry whether or not my console can play the latest games without a problem. Consoles are more social, because many of the games can be played with a friend on the same machine. I have a PC and a PS3, thinking about getting a Wii for those occasional friday-nights of alcohol consumption. I love both, the PC and the consoles.
Because I grew up with PC and it's cheaper.
Because consoles are for casual play. I don't do casual play often.
Gamepads suck for FPS. The mouse is the ultimate pointing device.
Paying for online.
I said less because even though there are a lot, have you played mw2 or halo 3 lately?
Do you even know what LAN means?
they think lan is invented for multiplayer gaming
they both have their ups and downs. i play the majority of my games on pc, but i also have an xbox because all my friends have one, and its fun to play with them
Mods, RTS games, Superior FPS controls.
Better Graphics. Better Controls. Less Faggots.
I have to go with PC gaming. I have a 360 that is currently collecting dust and I'm playing Warcraft 3, Starcraft, and Team Fortress on my laptop that is weaker than my 360 (single core, crappy mobile graphics, 896MB of RAM). The only console I've been playing is my PS2.
It really doesn't matter
I like PC because PC gaming is about finding the games that YOU like. Consoles are dominated by a "one size fits all" mentality which is good for selling the most games, but when you're trying to please everyone nobody in particulary is very pleased. When I think of PC I don't really think of the big mainstream titles. What makes PC gaming good in my eyes are titles that appeal to more specific people like ArmA 2, X3: Terran Conflict, Penumbra, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Love, and all those Indie games out there. Sure not everyone is going to like these games, but that's not the point. PC is not as governed by whats "cool" and what is most popular, it's about finding that specific game that YOU like, that YOU want to play, and to heck with what anyone else thinks. On PC chances are the ideal game for you is out there somewhere if you're willing to do the research and find it.
I grew up with PC, since I was 8. My first game ever was Microsoft's Train Simulator, which my Windows 98 couldn't handle. Any way now I'm thinking on selling my powerfull gaming rig to buy a car. I want a car badly but I also don't want to sell my rig which cost me 1.700EUR (aprox 2.300USD)... *facepalm*
I play on PC and consoles. I prefer PC slightly more because of mouse and keyboard ('cept wii that has nice controls for fpses) and because my friends are on steam so I can communicate with them (or I could pony up the cash for airplane fees but that is a bit out of my range there) The consoles I enjoyed were Sega Genesis, PS1-2 (never played 3), gamecube, wii, N64, and Snes. I also played the xbox but I didn't like it, it liked crashing on me (probably because it was used, I dunno)
Grew up with the PC. Also I like how people play every game on the PC. There are only trends on the consoles, while people are still playing old games like Doom and Half-Life on the PC.
I didn't. :smug: [editline]11:31AM[/editline]
Grew up with the PC. Also I like how people play every game on the PC.
