Say what you say, I personally can't wait for this game. I've been Resident Evil hardcore fan since the original and prefer the oldschool scarce-ammo-puzzle games over the action tits and 'roid adventures, but this game simply just looks fun to play. I've been having this one Xbox Live friend whom I played Resident Evil 5 Versus with for hundreds of hours and I can't wait to play with her again as a team.
I didn't have high hopes or didn't expect an AAA-quality game when I found out that Slant Six is developing it, but what I expected just from reading the previews and reviews was that it would be a very fun game to play with all the talk about 3-side conflict and classes etc. and it seems to be that my expectations were met.
I've also heard from the U.S. players that the multiplayer is very buggy at the moment but as in the case of Slant Six's SOCOM: Confrontation it will probably be patched up to be a very solid game with good gameplay. I'll be picking this up next weekend when it gets released here on the 23.3.

Launch trailer. Yeah you guessed it, Its dubstep.
Its amazing how terrible your team is in single player. if you get his game your better off playing co op with someone because the AI is mentally retarded
Finished the game, awfull.
Fun co-op with friends, but finished it in 2 hours in a half. All the things that happened on the trailers were cut, nothing of that ever happens on the game with the exception of a few cutscenes. IGN´s review is really accurate.

the mixed reception from viewers and critiques makes this feel like Brink all over again, except this time i can save my money just in case...
I thought brink was a pretty good game, Had some flaws but still fun. I hope i can say the same for when i get ORC.

brink all over again? ok i'll buy it a year after release just like brink...
It's a good game. It feels a lot like left 4 dead though so if you liked those games you will probably like this game.
Just got the special edition, The patches seem pretty nice and the case looks awesome. Not to mention i got all the DLC weapons and the costumes, Will be playing it as soon as the TVs free.
I fucking love this game. I'm having so much fun. I only have two complains: It takes WAY TOO MANY FUCKING BULLETS to kill soldiers in campaign, and at the moment, multiplayer is a little buggy/laggy.
Besides that though, I love this game. I got it for $24 because I traded in Silent Hill Downpour (and made a point to tell everyone there how terrible it was :v:) and there was some promotion going on so I got 30% extra trade-in credit towards RE:ORC.
I'm happy with this game. It's fun, the multiplayer is fun, and it's a pretty solid game.
The knife is incredibly overpowered. I can just slash fucking everything and watch them die.

agreed its a fucking pain in the ass fighting the soldiers. I got the game for $22 but it was worth it.

that's not dubstep, stop calling fucking everything dubstep
god it's like people calling everything a "roguelike" all over again
I'm on that mission with the tyrants and it's like they don't die. I thought one in the streets was bad enough then another fucking one jumps down off a building. They slaughter my squad pretty much instantly.

Considering a single tyrant by itself was enough to be a final boss battle for the first two games...
Loving this game on the PS3. A little leggy in mp but still really fun. It's a great change from playing standard shooters.

IGN ripped it to shreds in their review. It has made me think twice about my pre-order.

Fuck IGN. This game is really fun in co op. AI is pretty dumb though. The MP will keep me playing.

Good to know. What is the community like? My friend cancelled his order for it since every reviewer he went to pretty much said it was shit.

The community on the PS3 is pretty talkative. A lot of communication and a lot of open mic scares when someone comes to find out that there are 20 zombies after them. XD. The community is pretty strong, which is surprising since a lot of people are changing their mind because of the reviews. I haven't ran into any fucktards just yet. I don't regret picking it up. I usually hate buying games since I play them for a day and stop, but I can see this being played more than my copy of Black Ops. :P
I got it for the 360, but after having actually played it, I don't think I'll be trying out the mutliplayer at all, not my cup of tea honestly.
Yeah. From looking at the footage it seems as if it's not your genre.
has any critic given it a good score? all i've seen is IGN's, i haven't seen any others, i'm not basing my decision solely on that but they do give relatively informed reviews
wait for giant bomb's eventual review on it
gamespot and ign are gay
When they fix the multiplayer being a glitchy and laggy (though still really fun), this game will be pretty golden in my book.
Also I accidentally bought the weapon pack for 640MS points. I'm not sure if it was worth it or not, but hey, I get a grenade launcher :v:
God this game is great. Only on the nemesis mission in SP and haven't tried MP yet, but I love how it paces.
It could get really frustrating playing alone though
They really need to release a patch to give soldiers less health or something. I mean come on, not even the zombies take as many bullets as they do :v:

I WAS going to say "Hey, body armor", but then you mentioned the zombie's health.
You know, the partially regenerating sacks of meat with one, small, critical weak point versus the non-regenerating large, critically weak mass of flesh that is the human body.
