I don't think it was ever delayed. When the game was announced for PC the release date was always later.

Yeah I would of gone for the PC version if it was available on Steam but it isn't. Plus I rather get the game now since Max Payne 3 is coming out in May.
Reviewers completely miss the point of the game, it's not supposed to have the "feel" of the other Resident Evils. I really hope IGN rethinks the review or something, a 4 is wayyy too low. I'd give it a 7 at least. I'm having a whole lot of fun with it, besides the dlc that seems kinda money-whoreish. Plus, that starting grenade launcher, the classic launcher or whatever, is waaaay gay.

I don't care if it doesn't have the resident evil feel, the "Feel" it tries to convey is clunky, hard to see, and generally bad. I'm over the fact it is barely a resident evil game, but the game that they did make was, in my opinion, very, very poorly executed.
Also, don't call things you don't like "gay" it's childish.
So I bought the game yesterday and I've only had time to play a couple of rounds of Heroes and Survivor mode, but I can say that the game is just as fun as I thought. The graphics are pretty mediocre but it doesn't bother me as I prefer gameplay over graphics, but the unoptimization and huge amount of bugs get pretty annoying. My hope is that they would atleast patch the netcode and matchmaking soon so that 75% of the matches wouldn't be so laggy.
Hoping for a patch by the time my copy comes. Way to many bugs I've seen.
From what I've seen the soldiers can take a beating from guns and the team AI is pretty dumb.
In my opinion they should of allowed a crouch button or at least a button to get into cover. Rather than that walking into cover. Let alone a revival animation would of been nice.
Maybe I'm being to picky but those are my thoughts. Still I won't let this turn me away since I love zombie games.
Im hoping they do something with weapon swapping soon. Getting sick of trying to swap to my primary weapon, but it sticks to the pistol.
Umbrella is the most insanely fucked up company i've ever seen. Their employees either die or live long enough to start fucking hating them, and then they leave. It's amazing they lasted as long as they did.

But yes, I do agree, it was poorly executed, and if they ever make a second one, I'll definitely be all over it, that is, if they fix the things actually wrong with it. Or if someone else takes the idea and makes a game out of it, because I love the idea and how the set up is, just not how the game itself is.
I'm liking this game quite a bit. It's good fun. Very different from RE, but it's neat enough that I'm okay with that.
Cowboy Shotgun goes straight into my "Top 10 biggest bullshit weapons ever". I'm a very calm person and it's very rare that I get mad to videogames or anything but after getting one-shotted 8 times in a row I felt like Doomguy on berzerk. It's like Hydra in RE5 all over again.

I really wish they had included a real survival gamemode a la mercenaries from RE4 and 5. Would enjoy that more than the multiplayer thats currently in the game.

No, I'm judging it on the fact I can't see anything, my AI teammates are stupid as dirt, it takes forty million bullets to kill normal people, the writing, and characters are bad and unoriginal, [I]and[/I] to top it off, capcom used fake gun sounds from the early 90s for everything.
