It's a good thing the game is based in 1998.
With guns from 2009.
I haven't had any issue killing normal people. Military go down with a few shots to the head, albeit, a few too many for logic's sake.
I like how you can hear crows pecking at the glass if you go near the wall in the RPD main hall. Too bad they're not actually in the game though. Also I only saw three Cerberus in the entire campaign, that was really disappointing. I'm also surprised at how inaccurate some of the guns are. I saw so many glitches in my first run, too. I actually paid for three or four add-on packs which included "alternate costumes." Turns out they're all just the same costume set. So I ended up paying three or four times for outfits I already had for free by pre-ordering the game. Got a few weapons with them, but I'm not going to use them anyway. Still, it was an awesome game and it was amazing to be back in that city.
For everyone complaining the RE series is famous for its B movie acting and story line. Don't expect anything to amazing. If anything it's their for humour. Yeah, the guns are in the wrong time period but oh well get over it. It's video game entertainment. How about game developers stop putting laser pistols in games since they don't exist?

I didnt even notice the guns were from the wrong era, I was busy playing the game and having fun.
It's an alternate universe in which the world is threatened by fictional viruses which have the ability to transform humans and animals into hideous, enormous monstrosities. I think we can let a ten year difference in firearm appearances go.
But they're established to exist in scifi games, this is an established era of 1998, with guns from 2005.
This ruins the game how? Yeah, the guns didn't exist in 1998. But it doesn't ruin the gameplay. You're complaining about the smallest thing. If anything moan about the team AI.
But you have complained a lot about the guns.
Guns are a pretty big part of a shooting game.
Guns are a pretty big part of a shooting game.
Depending on genre of the game. But if people here have enjoyed the game as it is I guess the time period of the weapons aren't important. Remember it is just a game. It won't take away any fun as it is.
Can we stop fapping about the technicalities and get on with the discussion? Personally, I'm excited about the idea of using zombies as a weapon against players on the opposite team.
Nobody really uses the zombies as weapons, Not like enough of them spawn in multiplayer for that anyway.
Nobody really uses the zombies as weapons, Not like enough of them spawn in multiplayer for that anyway.
I guess if it's shamblers they are nothing more than back ground noise.
i guess in the PvP environment it's cool that even if you're low and bleeding out but safe from the enemy team there's that third-party coming to eat your face
So, does LONE WOLF play a part in the story? How is he in multiplayer?
How expansive are the multiplayer maps, anyhow?
i guess in the PvP environment it's cool that even if you're low and bleeding out but safe from the enemy team there's that third-party coming to eat your face
Reminded me of those fucking sand people in Star Wars Battlefront, kept stealing a useful base from the team that needed it
So, does LONE WOLF play a part in the story? How is he in multiplayer?
Skip to 1:00 to see the closest thing Lone Wolf has to a role in campaign. I don't even think that's him, actually. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjHmBYiwQp4 As for Heroes mode, I've never played as him. Seems like people like him, though.
Lone wolf isn't in campaign as far as i'm aware, Pretty sure he is just filler because they couldn't think of a fourth villian. Could of used the police chef imo.

I had to pull my 360 across the room, open my door, and move the modem just to fix my connection problem. Then my game freezes. I'm getting sick of wasting time and disconnecting right when I start doing good in a match. I'm liking Biohazard and Survivor the most as far as match types. Survivor has a serious intensity when the helicopter arrives.
Id love to play as the normal Police. Like the first few quiet missions are you heading out to rural areas to check on strange people being sighted on farms or in the woods, whatever. Things escalated, then you are being called to people being attacked in the streets, up until the beginning of RE:3, where you take part in that police blockade.

There's infinite opportunity for DLC, if you really think about it. Not that any of it is likely to happen, but it's still interesting to think of. Also I can't believe there's no dogs in multiplayer, either. Would've been a cool addition.
Also I can't believe there's no dogs in multiplayer, either. Tyrant is also used just in one single map which was Uplink (I think) in the Heroes mode.

Some of the "target" stats in multiplayer are just ridiculous. You know how after you complete a match it shows you how well you did compared to what constitutes an "S" rank? Can't even get close to any of them. Achievements, too. Ten kill streak? I'll be amazed if I ever even get the 5 kill streak. Survivor is definitely my favorite match. Only four slots on the chopper is just awesome. If you make it you just get that "YES!" feeling of relief and it makes it so much fun. I'm not very good at killing people so it's nice to have some game modes that don't focus on it.
I am playing the campaign on xbox but it is too hard. I am not good at xbox. It otherwise seems like a fun game, even though the military are bullet sponges, the zombies are very fun to kill.
That level on the street where like 5 of those Hunter things spawned is hard as. I did it with my brother on normal and it still took forever. Going to be near impossible with noone to revive me.
