The one thing I really, really disagree with is the events where a B.O.W will get dropped in by a pod and the blast radius will steal your health. Plus hunters are a bitch to kill with AI partners. [editline]31st March 2012[/editline]
they frequently run into soldiers blind and often get themselves killed. Sometimes They don't even do anything and just stand there
Yeah, in combat they a more of a problem than a solution. One tried to knife Mr. X and got them self killed. [editline]31st March 2012[/editline]
Don't forget walking into hazards like the landmines with the red lasers, and the fire when [sp]You go back to the Umbrella Lab[/sp], and EVERY SINGLE B.O.W. Anyway, I just finished the campaign on my own. My god the last mission, End of the Line, was almost impossible because of the retarded A.I. and the clusterfuck of Crimson Heads and Spec Ops. I liked the fact that you [sp]could choose whether you spared Leon or killed him.[/sp] Wish they would have elaborated on the ending more though.
I really think the ending will only be possible on SP mode with Vector. Can't imagine doing it with any other character.

Took like half my health just with that crap, then 4 other Hunters spawn around and gang up on you. Eventually I kept restarting and doing it over and learned to jump backwards when the light appears on the ground.

It killed me on my second play through when I was trying out Four Eyes.
Took half your life? It killed me on my second play through when I was trying out Four Eyes.
Maybe you were on a higher difficulty or something. Still ridiculous. I just played Heroes Mode for three hours and didn't get to be the "good guys" once. And I don't know about you guys but Fallen Idols seems like a pretty difficult Achievement to unlock.
I really think the ending will only be possible on SP mode with Vector. Can't imagine doing it with any other character.
I know, I was playing as VECTOR. What pissed me off? I forgot I had Active Camo. 15 god damn times I went through that mission, and never once did I even think about using Active Camo....FUCK.

Doesn't make Hunters any easier to kill or those pods stealing half your health. Don't know how Slant Six thought it was a good idea to basically steal your health at certain point in the game. I rarely rage at games but it was called for. [editline]1st April 2012[/editline]
I know, I was playing as VECTOR. What pissed me off? The rest of the U.S.S can save them selves. For some reason I would like to see a sequel to this game but of course done a lot better. Things that NEED to be removed is the health stealing and the massive amount of health that hunters have plus their spam attacks. Where they will hit you to the floor then claw at you two to three times before you even gotten back on your feet.
And I don't know about you guys but Fallen Idols seems like a pretty difficult Achievement to unlock.
Scratch that, I just got it. Joined a game that had already started and wow everyone in there was terrible. I don't even remember killing Nicholai but I got all four of them. That was a bit of luck. Now I'm on to Supreme Survivors. Survivor Mode is a lot of fun too. Hell, all modes are pretty fun actually. Can't wait for the SpecOps DLC though.
I missed out on the special edition version so I ordered the patches on ebay.
I got a pin from an RE booth. My girlfriend got me a STARS Shirt and Umbrella shirt.
Just bought RE2 on PC for like the 5th time. Cant find my disk of RE3 so it looks like I'll be spending more if I dont find it soon.

Awesome pin but I still don't know what to do with it.
If any of you guys would like to play through campaign with me on Professional (perhaps tomorrow?) and have Xbox Live, add me. Gamertag's the same as my username. This game is just too hard with bots. I just played the Hospital level and it took me 65 minutes to complete on my own. Unfortunately I don't have a mic though.
I don't know why this game got such low ratings by the critics, it isn't a bad game as some of the reviews make it out to be. I've played a little bit and I like the game so far.

Maybe it'll get better when the DLC comes out.
How the hell [sp]do you kill Leon in the end? I always die at the end because he insta kills me with his pistol as soon as he spots me[/sp]. Its fucking impossible. I actually really enjoyed the game, its quite fun and I havent even tried Multiplayer yet.
Free Spec-Ops mission next week http://kotaku.com/5899763/resident-evil-operation-raccoon-citys-new-spec-ops-dlc-will-make-good-guys-out-of-you-yet/gallery/1 You have to pay to get all of the other missions. God damn it.
Let alone the spec ops missions look far more better than the original campaign. I have a key for the first one. Don't know if I'll pay for the rest. I guess it depends on the price. I think I saw a clip of Jill in the trailer. [editline]7th April 2012[/editline]
How the hell [sp]do you kill Leon in the end? What I did was use a train that has a open door cart and take shots at him it is far away enough to avoid most of the zombies so you'll only get one or two crimson heads every 30 seconds to a minute while fighting him. Careful that he doesn't land to many shots with his rifle since you will bleed out and attract a fair few zombies. I would have four eyes and Bertha on your team since they are more helpful due to their skills. I suggest using Vector for the last mission since you can cloak or disguise your self as a spec op to sneak pass them at the final objective.

Her pistol just sucks your health right down and you can't rush because of the mines and you can't hide because of her grenades. Just managed to unlock "Skill... Or Luck?" in a match of Biohazard. Made it to the enemy spawn while playing Party Girl so I was able to see where they were and when they appeared. Pretty cheap, maybe, but at least I got the achievement legitimately. I think the only online ones I need now are Like a Bee and Supreme Survivors.
'Full Package' details have show up for this on the Steam CDR.
Three Spec-Ops missions just came out today. $10 for 1-3 hours of zombies.
what a fucking rip off seriously. These spec ops missions are already on the fucking disk guaranteed and the fact that they only released half the campaign for $10 is even more retarded. Fuck this game.
I'm really quite tempted to buy this on PC for the sake or Resident Evil completionism.
As a Resident Evil fan, I wouldn't really recommend it. Not for the price it's at now, at least.
Split Screen features for consoles would of gotten my interest
haha, i don't care for resident evil at all but this one girl showed up out of nowhere to buy binders or something (i work retail) and she was wearing a full-on jill valentine outfit i was like "wtf" because it was like nine o'clock in the morning. do people cosplay night-and-day or something? i mean, what? it was retarded. i thought i turned stupid when i saw her dressed up. she looked so dumb. i immediate bought operation raccoon city afterwards and have regretted my choice immensely
As a Resident Evil fan, I wouldn't really recommend it. Not for the price it's at now, at least.
You're right, probably should go back to playing Max Payne 3, like you should be too.
Does anyone know if I can change some more advanced graphics settings for the PC?
Might be a bit of a bump. This past month, I went around my city and gathered up a collection of Resident Evil games. Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 5. I also got Resident Evil:Code Veronica, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil: Outbreak, and last Resident Evil: Outbreak File 2. And to commemorate all these wonderful games. I made a suit case to hold them. http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/8065/060412213139.jpg http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/9779/060412213104.jpg Now I need to wait until Halloween to get a Severed Arm to attach to the handcuffs and case handle.

Winner for you. I wish they would make an Outbreak 3. It could be what we were hoping for ORC in terms of multiplayer.
I know this thread only has to do with OR, but I want to start playing Resident Evil games, I played Revelations, and I want to start with RE5 since it is on steam, well I did buy it and I played it, but will I not understand alot? Or will the backstory in loading help me out? And I can skip for first 4 games if I feel like it? Also do I have to play non-main story games? LIke Code Veroncia, Outbreak, RE:Zero? Or can I play, 1,2,3,4,5,6?
If you want to play the main story. You can play, in this order, RE:Zero, Resident Evil, RE:2, RE:3 Nemesis, RE:Code Veronica, RE:4, RE:5, than RE:6. I haven't and probably won't ever play Revelations since I don't want to buy a 3DS. So I don't know if it's canon or not. Outbreak and ORC are, in a sense side stories that aren't part of the real story. And for the other games, like Gun Survivor or whatever, and the older hand held game, they don't really matter. Now you can also just read the history of Resident Evil in the files section of the Special stuff in RE:5. Or you can read the books. They get into more detail.

Also what do you mean by "Now you can"? And does the RE books readable online and will it fill me in more then the game?
