Haha Nintendo-Guy made them lose quite a few dollars. He gifted it to what? 20? 40? People and bought it for 10 cent.
128 copies he gave out
He made them lose 37,12 dollars if he paid through paypal, not calculated what if 10 or so of those people would have bought it else.
Does amazon make them lose money? I hate paypal so I used my amazon account. Paid 2 dollars out of all my 10 dollars on my check card. I guess I don't need gas or food.
Where do you get your key for cortex command from? I want to get the new version instead of this old crappy one that doesn't even have the campaign in it.
Where do you get your key for cortex command from? I want to get the new version instead of this old crappy one that doesn't even have the campaign in it.
the one you got is actually an unreleased version of it
the one you got is actually an unreleased version of it
Whatever it is I want the normal version. This one doesn't have skirmish, campaign, etc. Is there any way to just download the regular version and register it?
It's pretty cool that notch donated 2000$.
It's pretty cool that notch donated 2000$.
That might just cover the costs incurred by paypal when people only paid a penny.
If there is a good tower defense game out there, Revenge of the Titans is it.
Revenge of the Titans is challenging later on.
Revenge of the Titans is challenging later on.
It could stand for a bit longer range on the starting towers. The reload mechanic is cool though.
Nintendo-guy bought me a copy, but I'll probably pay $5+ for this for a few friends as christmas gifts
Wow guys I felt shitty only giving 5 dollars, so I gifted another to a friend for another 3 dollars, now I see people are only paying a cent and making them lose money? You should be ashamed that you would flaunt an honesty based system, its like stealing candy from those charity things.
morning, anyone can still pm me if they want the bundle
They don't lose anything [editline]15th December 2010[/editline] It's all lie
I was basing it off that discussion from last page, besides, you can imagine there are some fees involved and that 1 cent is still a really shitty amout to give :v:
Awesome, this is an awesome bundle. Don't you just love wolfire for doing this sort of thing?
now I see people are only paying a cent and making them lose money?
They don't really loose money, more rather "they earn less".
Hah Notch bought it for 2k. Oh if only big game companies would do something similar, donating some of its money to charity.
It's nice to see an Indie Dev who has been blessed in the market significantly give back to charity and to other indie devs. I'd give him a heart, but he doesn't post here. :frown:
They don't really loose money, more rather "they earn less".
Like I said, I was basing that off the support conversation someone posted earlier, if I'm wrong I take it back :unsmith:
I feel happy because I went on the support chat thing and said "HALP!!! My computer is on fire" (from the video) and I was the first person to say it.
Actually they do lose money. I sell an album through the internet and PayPal takes a constant 39 cents and then a percentage of what is earned. If somebody gives under 39 cents the seller pays the rest.
Hah Notch bought it for 2k. Oh if only big game companies would do something similar, donating some of its money to charity.
He donated 2 million not 2k
He donated 2 million not 2k
Read again
Where in the world is the support link? I want to chat :(
Actually they do lose money. I sell an album through the internet and PayPal takes a constant 39 cents and then a percentage of what is earned. If somebody gives under 39 cents the seller pays the rest.
They will make more than what they will lose.
They will make more than what they will lose.
Yes, but they still lose money.
He donated 2 million not 2k
2,000.00 The dot is the decimal point and the comma is to differentiate between thousands etc. So translated to what I presume you use, he donated 2000,00$ or 2000 dollars and no cents.
