Humble Indie Bundle #2 - Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, Revenge of the Titans

Fact: I own 3 copies of World of Goo
1 from the 2D Boy site
1 from Steam
1 from the Humble Indie Bundle
will cortex command work on a GeForce 5200, though?
Oh my god. These are the MOST GENEROUS game designers EVER. Even valve's shit doesn't compare.
Everyone raffling off HIB#1 keys - you're not doing a good thing. There's only 150,000 keys (right now, and a possibility of more appearing later) and by giving them away for free you are basically stealing from the paying customers. You're also causing the HIB to lose money, as you would normally have to pay $7.33 (or whatever the current average) to get the HIB#1 games.
Also, please don't reply with "well they wouldn't have had that $7 anyway because those people wouldn't have paid". They only have a limited amount of the HIB#1 keys.
I had world of goo already and didn't really care that much for the other games (Penumbra maybe) but I registered it on Steam anyway because why not.
Well because there's only 150k keys, that's why not, but I didn't know :frown:

Except everyone here got this before today so didnt have to pay $7.
But i do agree with you on that its "stealing"
So I went back to the Humble Bundle site.
It said I was able to download the first bundle as well, and so I did.
What a good day. :)
I'm eternally grateful for what they did here, seriously, 11 games for the price of $13.37

Indeed, didn't expect that at all.
Wonder what will be in the inevitable third humble deal.
Seriously, as impossible as this list is, this list here would sell like hot cakes.
-Minecraft
-Super Meat Boy
-Amnesia
-VVVVVV
-Unkown Fifth Game?
Also, I already own all of those except VVVVVV, so that's not just me wishing. Come to think of it, VVVVVV is probably the most likely out of all those games.
I can confirm that cortex command does run on really shit computers.

I think the game needs to work in Windows, Mac and Linux in order to get in to the bundle. VVVVVV only seems to work on Linux using Wine, because the current Flash Player support in Linux is horrible, so the chances of it getting into the bundle are pretty low if you ask me.
Wait, Machinarium is a Flash game and it's in the bundle. From what I've gathered, they wrapped the SWF file into a HTML page, which apparently makes it work better in Linux than using the stand-alone player. Maybe VVVVVV could do the same...?
Actually I bought it, where can I download the games?

I'm dumb.
Wow, did not expect that at all, I'm surprised they did that.

As does the awesome so far Penumbra Overture, if you fiddle around with the settings. AKA bare minimum.
If some pathetic twat wants my spare key given for ordering pack #2, here's my pack#1 key...

Oh WOW, I woke up to amazing! More games!
Could someone gift me bundle 1 or 2?
I can't use paypal so there apparently isn't a way to buy them :(

You can pay using Amazon or Google Checkout, if you use either of those.
Wow, someone jacked my Humble Bundle 1 steam key :smith:.
[editline]22nd December 2010[/editline]
But at least I can still download the non-steam versions :unsmith:

I don't know what the big deal about Steam is. It's nice when you can register games on disc, and I love the sales, but when you get completely DRM-free links to online downloads that never expire, I'd rather not bother with Steam (which is a form of DRM, and does cause me complications when I'm offline).

But steam keeps everything neatly together and provides a friend overlay!
Does someone have an extra key? I am broke and would like to give a bundle to a good friend of mine.
Duh double post.
After the Humble Bundle is over, Data: GUYS LOOK AT MY NEW CAR

Would anyone have a spare unneeded #1 key? :unsmith:
Damn it, I wish I didn't spend all my money on a new power supply since my old one died on me.
I feel bad.
I payed 2.50 for 5 indie games, but I couldn't spare any more money.
And then they gave me 5 more for free.

It's convenient, because I always have steam on anyways, it allows me to fix corrupted/fragmented games.

Chime would work, if they ever ported it to mac.

Braid is quite hard but impossible to rage at. The atmosphere and music is so calming
Oh cool, already had the first bundle but I gave to my friend who just got into PC gaming. Perfect for his laptop.
