Alan Wake.
The end of Halo 3. You know, when [sp]you're driving the warthog on the falling plates of Halo, and you jump into the ship, only to go into cryosleep in space for an indefinite time.[/sp] Took me a while to figure out I had to take the warthog with me, but when I did, I shit my pants with awesome.
Red Dead Redemption. Only game I've ever played that made me full on cry.
I went into a mad rage that I let that happen, and killed everyone I meet afterwards.
This. I even dragged all the bodies at the construction side in front of the chopper, placed every explosive laying around on them and blew them up, before I continued to slaughter every single person in the streets.
Deus Ex HR if you let [sp]Malik die[/sp].
Im pretty sure she can only die, although in two different ways. And Malik was a pretty damn awesome character, was kind of sad when she died, really the only time i felt emotional through the entire game to be honest.
Red Dead Redemption. Only game I've ever played that made me full on cry.
Why am i the only person who does not think that Red Dead Redemption's plot is incredible and emotional as all hell? Oh, and Infamous II's good ending. It's possible that i also think the evil ending is moving, but i would not know, as i have not seen it as of yet, but that one sure as hell was pretty damn moving. And, Metal Gear Solid 2, that game impacted me a lot, i would dare say it was the one that impacted me the most of the series, but that is mainly because it's the one that confused me the most in the series, and considering the other games in this series (I am looking at you Guns of the Patriots!), that is saying a lot.
Dead Island [sp]when that bitch gets shot before you face stomp the final bawss[/sp] I laughed. Because [sp]the game didn't want to make me care about her, I even forgot her name.[/sp] Despite the [sp]ass backward as fuck story flaws[/sp] the game was still fun as shit.
In Stalker when that guard told me to get out of here stalker. I was emotionally hurt and confused left wandering the zone at that remark
The end of overlord in mass effect 2. Oh my god I cried so many thoroughly un-masculine tears.
The end of overlord in mass effect 2. Oh my god I cried so many thoroughly un-masculine tears.
This. So much this.
Bastion. The entire game.
Throughout most of it was I pretty mellow, but [sp]when you were carrying the guy and after a bit the Ura stopped shooting and just watched, that got me[/sp]
The final fight in Mother 3 [sp]When Lucas refuses to attack Claus, and Claus then suicides with the Franklin Badge[/sp]
Portal (the first one) - When I finished the game (right when Still Alive starts playing) I was so happy that I couldn't stop bouncing in my chair, but at the same time I felt kinda sad for some reason
The final fight in Mother 3 [sp]When Lucas refuses to attack Claus, and Claus then suicides with the Franklin Badge[/sp]
And I thought the music while fighting was pretty freaky to begin with.
Being part of a regiment in Mount and Musket mod for Warband and unsucessfully defending a Belgian fort. 50% clan match 50% historic recreation. There is nothing like Warbands 250 player servers!
And I thought the music while fighting was pretty freaky to begin with.
It is also quite sad when you find out that [sp]it plays a eerie/corrupt version of the Love theme,[/sp] and also the scene after where [sp]Claus has a flashback, and the battle afterwards[/sp] had me in tears. And the worst part was me visiting relatives at the time that scene happened.
In Dead Rising 2 when [sp]Sullivan kills Rebecca and shows his true colors. Fuck sake I trusted him like he was Chuck's brother.[/sp]
when i finally beat eric in Tony Hawk Underground (in a good way)
In Half-Life 2, where you hear that suit song...
MGS3 because it was so fucking awesome and the 60s James Bond style. [sp]I love the final battle, the best one in the series IMO. I thought it was really cool when you're fistfighting with The Boss and the James Bond-like song plays while you beat the shit out of each other in a field of white flowers.[/sp] I 'd (even though I'm german >_>)
Sniper Wolf dying :(
Really? I thought Phelps was a robot and to be honest i did not care that he died, i am more attached to my toaster. Also i was dissapointed that you did not get an epic fist fight with Roy Earle, he just felt like the kind of guy that you were going to punch in the face late in the game. And it would also have been nice to, i dont know, have any kind of climactic ending, instead we got an incredibly easy shootout with random henchmen.
I liked Earle, probably because I decided that him hitting Elsa was just put in at the last minute because the developers realised he was too likable. Phelps was just a complete tool. "Rusty, be realistic. This is clearly the work of a serial killer. I don't care for your statistics and decades of experience, I'm an incorruptible cop! [sp](Who cheats on his wife and yells at old ladies)[/sp]"

[sp](Who cheats on his wife and yells at old ladies)[/sp]"
I think he was intended to be a flawed character, he tries to be the best he can, and he acts the part most of the time, as if that image is important to him, but he's nowhere near perfect.
Im pretty sure she can only die, although in two different ways.
Nope, she can survive if you manage to fight the guys off fast enough.
[sp]Walter[/sp]'s death in Fable 3
Especially when you had to wander the desert with him.
Most of Deus Ex: The Human Revolution. God damn, especially the ending, but not for the main ending itself. For the fact that [sp]the drones powering the Hyron Core were in constant pain for however long they were there, and all you could do to stop it is kill them, and there is no way to keep them alive.[/sp]
Deus Ex HR if you let [sp]Malik die[/sp].
Even worse was when I found [sp]her body on an operating table inside the Harvester's hideout. Earlier in the game she mentioned she had some minor neural augmentations to help her fly. I looked towards her face to see a gaping hole in her forehead. The bastards stole them.[/sp] Afterwards I murdered every harvester in a grusome fashion. I aimed for the legs, and used as much melee and prop kills as I could. All done in a blind rage.
Two games that rocked my world were just parts of games that I thought they did perfectly. (Not spoiler tagging because these aren't spoilers as much as parts of the game) 1. In Medal of Honor: Rising Sun the entire Pearl Harbor mission was amazing especially when the Arizona was blown up. 2. The part in World at War when you and the other Russians bust out of the insane asylum and its raining and the rockets are flying overhead as you roll with the tanks into the city.
In Farcry 2, during my first playthrough, I lost my best buddy. I didn't have any medical supplies to save him so I had to put him down :(
In Farcry 2, during my first playthrough, I lost my best buddy. I didn't have any medical supplies to save him so I had to put him down :(
Oh my god that happened to me too. That last look on his face before you look away broke my heart.
