EA betrays the cause; puts Sims 3, Uprising and Dragon Age on Impulse but not Steam

Impulse is much better than steam because it uses less resources, is less intrusive(no need to log in to play, updates aren't forced on you unless you want to play online) and you can install the games anywhere you want. Steam is good too and I have both installed on my computer. Impulse has a cool selection of games, but loses to Steam's behemoth amount of games.
The only useful thing Stardock has ever done IMO is make ObjectDock, besides make competition for Steam, but most people in this thread are stupid and don't know the words "competition" and "monopoly"

Also those games all suck

Oh wait never mind since it's not like Sims 3 and Uprising are good games.
Well, it's a good thing I could care less about any of those games, then.
I'm going to start my own Steam ripoff and call it gaspowered.com
Wait...
gas powered games:blizzard::Supreme Commander:Starcraft
Let me elaborate my analogy with an analogy:
The developer of Battleship 3000AD (a company that has over 20 years of experience) says Impulse is on the bottom of the food chain taking all things considered. Say he wants a game to be sold, if he gets it on Impulse but not on steam, he's lost profit that he has to call it a failure. However, if it's Vice Versa the game would be a success as Steam is much MUCH versatile.
Derek Smart is also an egotistical douchebag. Your point?
Sue? Over what?
In the world we live in I can sue you for tripping me and causing me to scrape my arm.
I can sue you if I break into your house but break my ankle or arm doing it, because it was on YOUR property.
I can sue you if you just to happen as to say something stupid and I perceive it as offensive.
the whole system is broke man.
Hundreds of thousands of court cases are taken care of in a fair, logical manner. You never hear about them because it is not of note. The system 'isn't broke man'. It is not an ideal but a tangible, working machine.
steam and impluse should do a merger (not stardock and valve) With all the best bits of steam and impulse on one managble amazing client.

You only need to be logged in to play Valve 1st party games. Any other time you can just run the exe file right from the folder it's installed to. And not to mention offline mode.
I find it more convenient to use steam as my universal game browser anyways.

That's exactly what being a business is not doing.
ITT fight valourously for companies that are unaware of your existence
