Yeah. He upgraded his computer regularly, and I recall him playing Crysis on a large screen (don't know the resolution) on high.

Edit: Well, shit. Apparently my mom's sister (who was supposed to give me the computer today) put the thing in storage. How she can afford storage when she's about to become homeless is beyond me.
