Trust me get the rocket launcher...It's great for blowing up buildings without wanting to get too close...Or blowing up a car chasing you!
I have an alright computer. I can run crysis on high (not very high) at around 20-30 fps I believe.
Well I like doubled the specs it needed so...yah...
Hell. I'm playing with a bad stick of RAM and it runs fine. Just run it on medium. The physics are pretty hard on your CPU though.
Can you people who are running the game maxed please post your specs? And have you tried blowing up a large building to see if it affects your framerate?
Mine's been downloading for 4 hours. :( It's at 22%.. :'( Bad internet FTL..
Fuck, I need to replay Parker and Dust.
If you're having bad speeds then try a different location. Benelux gave me great speeds for TF2 updates.
Nha, I just have really bad internet...

Bah, i have to play at low/med settings - 8600GT 512mb - 2.8GHZ Intel Dual core - 4Gigs DDR2 Ram - and Vista Should it run higher or is that a correct setting for my specs?
Here are mine I play at Maxed: -GTX260 Core 216 -Windows 7 Build 7100 -2GBs of Corsair XMS2 -Q6600 Quad @ 2.8GHz
i play mine at maxed Core i7 920 @ 4.2 GHz w/ HT 2x EVGA GTX 275s 6GB DDR2-1603MHz RAM @ CAS8, CR1 massive e-peen it works nice
My computer isn't crappy, it's quite good actually (Crysis very high 20-30 fps) I'm just getting really weird lag issues. For instance, the game pretty much always runs at an incredibly smooth pace, but as soon as I accept a mission, every time I try to switch weapons, or a notice pops up on the screen, I get a huge lag spike (freezing for around 6 seconds) but I never have the issues when I'm out of a mission. Also, (although this is a little easier to explain) whenever I even touch a larger type of building (big warehouse or a huge smoke stack) my framerate begins to crawl.
postyourspecs
GAH! blowing up the bridge in Badlands is a pain in the ass..you got marauders and EDF chasing you the entire time + you keep falling through holes in the bridge and dying!

Wow the buildings sink significantly less in multiplayer
This is totally my kind of game
lol, my RFG doesn't even launch. It just goes to the preparing to launch box, which shortly after disappears.

On hard the amount of EDF cars that chase you is insane. Made a vid:
I didn't like that mission at all, I loved the one in the Free Fire Zone. Also they should have implemented more rewards or items which you could find outside. Like in Badlands because exploring is pretty fun in the game and Badlands are awesome.

to anyone having framerate issues with this game, word of advice AMBIENT OCCLUSION IS USELESS SOFT SHADOWS LOOK LIKE A PENIS that's all
Ambient occlusion is not useless, it looks great
Ambient occlusion is not useless, it looks great
no it adds shadows on places where there should be no shadows
No, it adds shadows in places where there would be indirect shadows
Find the Snipers was especially fun with the jetpack, since I climbed the buildings, then jumped from the highest window, activated the slowmo, and slammed them to the ground with the sledge.
