Yeah, but still better than p2p.
Listen server is pretty much as bad as P2P. [editline]11:16PM[/editline]
3.2 GHz for a C2D. It really doesn't depend on the clock at all, but rather the model.

[editline]07:11PM[/editline] I realise that it's all about the model, but I generally go with the requirements due to having an E6150
Wasn't the original release date August 25? Why are they delaying it again?
Wasn't the original release date August 25? Why are they delaying it again?
Because no one cares if pc users get it earlier or later.
Because no one cares if pc users get it earlier or later.
FUCK. I've been waiting for it! Why the fuck can't they release it now? It sounds like it's finished.
FUCK. I've been waiting for it! Why the fuck can't they release it now? It sounds like it's finished.
Because if they're taking longer they're probably fixing bugs and adding cool stuff(Map editor please)
Because if they're taking longer they're probably fixing bugs and adding cool stuff(Map editor please)
Or modding support (so we can mod the reconstructor into SP)
Or modding support (so we can mod the reconstructor into SP)
Or doing like they did with gta4 :D
OMG. Map editor with the simplicity of CryEngine 2's editor + insane physics = win.
holy fucking shit september? i thought it was august 25th i fuckin want this game now they did the same late release with mirrors edge
Once this comes out on PC I'm hoping to make a castle map. 2 castles, two teams. :D
Once this comes out on PC I'm hoping to make a castle map. 2 castles, two teams. :D
Make sure the castles are resilient, so that they aren't blown up in ten minutes.
Looks like the PC version is actually going to be a good port Recommended: OS: Windows Vista® for DirectX® 10 CPU: 3.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2) Memory: 2 GB RAM / 15 GB of Hard Drive space Video Card: 256 MB 3D Video Card w/Shader Model 3.0 Support (Nvidia GeForce 8800/ATI Radeon HD3850) Note: If you're going to play Multiplayer on Games For Windows Live, we highly encourage each individual to be running a "Recommended" spec computer or higher. Minimum: OS: Windows XP / Vista CPU: 2.0 GHz Dual-Core Processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2) Memory: 1 GB RAM / 15 GB of Hard Drive space Video Card: 128 MB 3D Video Card w/Shader Model 3.0 Support (Nvidia GeForce 7600/ATI Radeon X1300) There are screenshots here of Red Faction running on recommended specs (8800gt/3850, probably E8500) http://community.redfaction.com/content/rfg-pc-release-date-specs Also a release date of September 11th (15th NA)
High/low specs don't indicate good port.
High/low specs don't indicate good port.
There's going to be a TON of physics going on. Sounds like reasonable requirements to me.
There's going to be a TON of physics going on. Sounds like reasonable requirements to me.
Well, just saying, SR2 was a total fail, and it had minimal physics. But I hope RF will turn out good, it better be.
I HAVE PC VERSION INFOOOOOOO http://pc.ign.com/articles/100/1004156p1.html
Yay, I once again JUST hit the minimum requirements. No biggie, I have it on my Xbox already.
I'm glad I've resisted the console versions, I'm going to get this on PC.
Bought it today on xbox, it's quite awesome, I love raiding a building, I just drive into the fucking building and blow it up with my carbomb just feels awesome man :D
Since this is bumped I may as well ruin everyone's mood. No map editor on PC.
There's some DLC out apparently
Bought it today on xbox, it's quite awesome, I love raiding a building, I just drive into the fucking building and blow it up with my carbomb just feels awesome man :D
I like doing that, but not as much as trying to play Jenga with the sledgehammer. WHILE INSIDE THE BUILDING.
Fucking true, I love the game. The sledge is has been forged in the mountain of epicness and awesomness combined with doom. It's the fucking Mjolnir or what the fuck?
I pre-ordered it just because it came with the first 2 Red Factions, all of my friends who game on consoles (I feel sorry for them) told me the game was awesome.
This game's actually really fun.
Crashing a truck through the roof of a building never gets old.
It's just a bit sad that stuff won't rebuild itself, it has a cool effect when you travel around the destroyed buildings but would be nice if they appear after a while.
Once this comes out on PC I'm hoping to make a castle map. 2 castles, two teams. :D
there is no map editor for the PC version http://community.redfaction.com/forums/topic/2772
Q4: Will there be official mod tools or a level editor shipping with the game? A4: Unfortunately, no.

It's just a bit sad that stuff won't rebuild itself, it has a cool effect when you travel around the destroyed buildings but would be nice if they appear after a while.
Yeah, I destroyed pretty much everything within the first day. [editline]07:20AM[/editline] What the hell is going on in this picture? http://pc.ign.com/dor/objects/14235421/red-faction-guerrilla/images/red-faction-guerrilla-20090402032725373.html
